I have used this Fiber Optic Christmas Tree every year for 10 years. One week ago my wife unpacked it for this years display and it would not turn on, heartbroken thinking that it was probably broken or had a good ten year life i decided to put it into the trash. However, before trashing it i decided to search AMAZON for broken fiber optic tree I was very happy to discover my problem was A burned out bulb After selecting and receiving this product, i was also surprised to see that it was exactly like my old bulb, i installed and it worked perfectly. It appears to be harder to find versus the 20watt version. Many table fiberoptic ornaments and Christmas trees use these. In my case, there was no lens cover on the old bulb so that 2 springs could secure the bulb in place. The new ones came with a plastic lens that prevented me from using the springs. The bulb base secured the bulb fairly well so the springs were not as important. However, if you have a product that uses fasteners of this type, you may want to find another brand that does not have the lens.

These replacement lights cost so much more in the store when you can find them. I bought on Amazon since they came in a pack of 2. I have two Christmas fiber optic decorating items, snowman (which takes one bulb) is the one I gave a picture of and I have a Avon house which also takes one of these replacement bulbs. The ones that came with these items lasted several years, so hopefully these will last also. It was very easy to replace the bulbs in these items.
