It was easy to install on my A/C to vent out a window that was higher that what the vent line that came with my A/C could reach.

Thank you Kraftex!! My original exhaust hose was splitting and being held together by blue-painters tape (haha) due to being 5yrs old and a/c being used a lot. GREAT PRICE & quality craftsmanship! Looking forward to not worrying about this for another 3-5 yrs. Yay! One less thing... Reading reviews, I saw a lot of people ordering the wrong size/diameter hose and getting mad at their own mistake. REMEMBER -- Not all portable a/c units are the same. I bought a GE portable AC and was excited to have an AC. I didnt think the hose that it came with would be too short! So I propped the AC on a table so I could use it (first picture). Immediately I turned to Amazon for a solution and saw this hose. Quality feels better than the hose the AC came with, was easy to screw in, and the length is perfect for my high windows (Second picture) Highly recommend this hose.

I have an older LG (LP1214GXR) and a newer Honeywell (HL10CESWW) portable A/C units. Went to setup and use the LG over the weekend and the old & brittle duct split and fell apart in my hands. Spent time searching the replacement parts websites and came across this duct for $25 and I figured it was worth a try before shelling out $$ for a replacement from the other sites. Since its a Prime item, it arrive in less than 2 days, and not only is it a perfect fit for both units, its construction is much more durable than that of the OEM ducts that came with either unit! I was so pleased, I immediately ordered a second one to put away as a just-in-case backup.

Was difficult to attach but one it was it worked great.

It looked and felt as sturdy and easy to work with as the original but it was too wide for my very old model--hence, it is not universal. We connected it using duct tape, it is working perfectly.

When my portable A/C hose started splitting, I was going to buy a replacement unit complete with the plastic fittings on each end. Expensive. This generic exchaust vent hose is just fine -- no hassle to install in the plastic end fittings. Apparently these hoses are pretty much all the same diameter. Anyway, perfect solution, cant tell the difference from the original.
