The adhesive would not come off even, it stuck to the back so we had to try to peel off all the tape with fingernails to get it to work.

My tablesaw is 18 years old and I finally found out you could actually replace the tape line. I didn’t think something like this was available I just thought you just had to suffer through the trouble of trying to see what the mark used to be. Quite frankly it’s better than the original

As I was applying, I was gently pulling protective backing away while keeping tape almost flat to surface of tablesaw fence rail, luckily I noticed that the backing has decided to rip lengthwise from the side so only half the width of the tape was adhering. I had to gently pull it up, peel away backing and restick. Happened 3 or 4 times in a 54.5 run. When tape was removed from packaging I noticed the peel away strip was crinkled (not stuck to) the tape in numerous spots, only a 1/16-18 inch spots. I believe it was at the crinkles where the tape decided to split lengthwise like some old masking tape your trying to get off a roll. Hoping I dont have problems in the future with the tape coming up in spots where I had to unstick and fix.

I used these tape measures in a mitre saw fence system and it works great.

This tape must have been sitting in the warehouse for a long time, the paper would not come off in one piece and when I did get it off it wouldnt stick.
