This is soooo much better then the one from Home depot.

quite easy to use.

Its use is good for modeling, watch repair and jewelry and various other things needing more accuracy than a ruler.

I use this as a hobbyist and garage tinkerer.... It is perfect and I have verified that it is about as accurate as you are going to get for a measurement tool in this price range. Very well built with tight tolerances. I would buy it again if lost or damaged!!!

Mechanical Quality is better than expected. The inch display is almost impossible to read. It is not as advertised need a microscope to read the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th digits. I would say keep looking.

Actually heavy duty. I’ve had numerous fail and have issues with how they’re designed so this was really a nice change.

The digital display does not work. I tried 3 new batteries.

Im always looking for my calipers, so I decided to get another. This one works very well. It is accurate, but what makes it for me is the fractional display. How many times do you have a spec that is in inches and fractions of inches so you have to convert from decimal? Well this one will show you right on the display and that is a real timesaver for me. Love this thing!

I was impressed. It will work great on simple jobs that doesnt require you to have it machined. May order another.
