I had the standard cheaper plastic caliper you that everyone has. Constantly fighting with the battery cover because it is loose. I paid a bit more for this one. It is all metal with high quality buttons etc. Well worth the money.

My father-n-law was a master mechanic for Toyota so he has all tools imaginable. The majority are from Snap-On. One day I decided to test the accuracy against his $300+ Digital Caliper measuring tool from Snap-On against this one. He was surprised when there was no difference at all. Granted, his has a lot more features but accuracy was more important to me than all features. The reason I needed one was because I use a ballistic software that requires me to measure the distance between barrel and scope and enter the values into the software. At this point, the ballistic tool allows me to download a target that I can use with my boresight to get battle zero. I then go out to the range and sight in my scope to the desired yards without having to waste expensive ammo. Its worked every time and the tool is very easy to use. Granted, if you drop it... dont think itll survive. But in regards to accuracy... its up there with the big and more expensive boys.

This is a great caliper for the money. Very accurate, Zeros true, even came with 2 spare batteries.

First off this product arrived four days ahead of schedule, which was really nice. Ive already used it several times for some necessary critical measurements, and it proved to be spot on. Thus far, Im very happy with my purchase.

High quality. I have a Mituyoyo caliper which was really expensive and this is just as good. This one actually is better: much better readout and plastic container/ box is great ! I highly recommend this product and I’m really happy I purchased this one.

Got it. Worked great for about six months and then one day Im measuring something and it randomly resets to zero. I zero it out and try to make the same measurement and again. It doesnt happen every time so i just keep an eye on it but it gets worse. Then it starts momentarily making a screen full of gibberish and it doesnt always reset to zero; sometimes it resets to a random number. I change the battery. Doesnt help. I send a message to the manufacturer; no reply. i get that its only a $23,81 item and things go wrong with products (I know, I design and build them), and thats why responding to a customer whos having a problem not only is the right thing to do but also an opportunity to build customer loyalty. This could have been a five star review saying I had a problem and they fixed it like gentlemen. Opportunity missed.
