I bought this 11/21. The picture quality is great and bright, but the speakers are so low you cant hear them unless there is absolutely no other sound in the room. The most awful speakers Ive ever heard. If I breathe heavy it drowns out the sound. After about 6 months the HDMI connection got loose. I could use it, but I had to jiggle it around to find the right spot. Well, now, Not even a year later (8/22),the connector stopped working completely. It feels like the solder joint broke off. And the monitor is sealed with apparently no way to open it, so its useless to me now. Its a shame, I really enjoyed using it, it has a great picture and is extremely light and portable. Update 8/25 Customer service saw my review and are sending me a new monitor! (the warranty was for a year) The rep was really helpful and nice. I just had to send in a video showing the defect to the monitor.

When an item is as good it advertises, I like to leave a review to help others. This worked great for traveling as a second attached monitor to my MacBook Pro. I especially liked how this does NOT require a power source (for the MBP set up). -SIMPLE set up. -Very Light weight. -Fold Up stand/magnetic is nice! -Clear, Bright display. Back at Home - Ive now connected the portable Monitor to my 2015 iMac. This did require the use of the provided power source and a (separate purchase) Thunderbolt cable to fit their provided mini HDMI. And to top it off, I placed the KYY vertically-next to the iMac - instructions in their book. This is a good purchase. Hope this helps!

I got this monitor when I moved after packing up my desk. A few things to note. It is incredibly convenient to have a 2nd monitor that can be powered by your computers USB (power and video through USB-C). What is important to note is that when power is not coming from a wall plug, it is limited to 85%. If you are in an environment with lots of glare, then this can cause issues. The stand/case is ok, but I would suggest finding a more supportive stand as the case is not the best at keeping it upright (I dont think the magnets are strong enough). Lastly, the screens color balance is not the best. If you are a designer or it is important that your colors are accurate and clear, I would steer clear of using this as the display you work on. That being said. If you are doing research, communications, browsing, this screen works great for its price and thats what I would recommend using it for. Does it replace a dedicated larger monitor? No. Does it do a good job being a portable monitor and getting the job done? Yes.

My company does live streaming sports and special events, multi-camera with graphics etc. I needed something portable to bring to preview these elements as well as audio, both for me as the director, and for on-air voice talent. This monitor fit the bill well, its portable, easy to power, and good enough picture quality to get the job done. BUT - it died after just a few months of use. Probably only had it on 4 or 5 jobs. It refuses to detect any HDMI mini inputs, and of course Ive tried multiple cables on multiple input devices. It powers down and you my friend are dead in the water... Reached out to the vendor, who suggested testing with - you guessed it - multiple cables and input devices, and when I reported just that back to them they basically stopped returning my messages. The unit is supposed to be covered for a year, but good luck getting them to honor that. I take good care of my gear, as its the source of my income. If youre just giving it to your kids to play videos on, you might have a better experience. Good luck! UPDATE: They did finally reach out again, and are sending a replacement unit - Ive upgraded to 3 stars.

the monitor itself is fine but the only way i could make it work with a nintendo switch was to have the nintendo power adapter plugged into a wall. it doesn’t work with a high power battery pack (more than the 2.5A the manual suggested). the speakers aren’t very good, very tinny, but i’d expect that from a monitor. especially at this price wish it worked for me :(

Great monitor for what i needed, i use it wirh my galaxy s20, switch and qindows laptop. Only down side is that no built-in power supply so majority of the time need 2 cables connected.

Product works well.

Mediocre screen, with absolutely terrible sound. If you are not two feet away from it, you cant hear anything. If you dont need it for sound, then itll get the job done as a budget level screen. Menu functions also not very user friendly, and the volume buttons on the side have a tendency to be resigned upon entry and exit of the menu. Powering down the screen seems to correct this, but I find it quite tedious. One pro, its relatively slim, and the included magnetic cover is a plus.

Bought to be a 2nd screen for when I work remotely or while traveling! Loved that it came with cables to connect to and didnt have to buy them separately! Sounds quality isnt the best but I didnt need it for sound.

I travel with this and use it at home when I work remote. It’s a great quality and only requires the USB-Cable when my laptop is plugged in!
