> 3 dayWhile they are cute and served their purpose, I was disappointed in how easy the broke while sharpening. Also the base is not properly secured and pops off. Most them lost the base and at least five broke and cracked while being sharpened.

I love that they are useful as pencils when the kids are done playing with them; not just another party favor to buy and throw away. The only issue is the handles are not glued on well and would come off. Not a big deal as that is an easy fix. Or just throw that part away (they are wood, not plastic!) And use the pencil.
