> 24 hourI would like to see them with a little more carbon. They are too flexible, but better than some.

> 24 hourThe shims are the right thickness to fit but they are not rigid enough to unlock even the most basic masterlock. This is a shim that got stuck and even after opening the lock with the key it would not budge. Using tweezers, the remnant the you see in the photo is all that could be retrieved. After opening it with the key, the remnants inside were shredded and couldnt be removed. The lock is now partially damaged.

> 24 hourMetal this thin simply cant last that long. In other words, they are semi-disposable. Expect no more than 2-3 uses out of each one, but thats as expected.

> 24 hourI used this product to rekey some lock cylinders that I did not have keys for. I wanted to have all the keys for my outside doors keyed alike. This was my very first attempt to perform this type of work and these shims worked perfectly. I hope future purchasers have as much success with their project as mine . Thanks, TJM

> 24 hourIf you have a box of locks without keys, use these to remove the cylinders for re-pinning. They cant be used on the front of any locks Ive seen, so the lock has to be taken off the door prior to use. They appear to be original LAB parts, and fits nicely in my pin kit. I get a lot of uses of of one shim.. if you ding the end, trim it off and use it again.
