This is the same material as my smaller pack that I use for work so the water resistance is great and the durability of it is great. The pocket for the laptop is soft and well cushioned.

Greater than one weekReceived my laptop case earlier than expected-yeah and waited to open it until my new laptop arrived. Assembled the strap to the bag when I put my laptop in for safe keeping. The interior is soft and seems that it will safely handle the computer. Options of how to carry to bag are available and the handles are secure. The only question I have is how sturdy the clip and D-ring will be over time.
