This case works, I bought it for my drive, used it while traveling abroad, and everything of course works perfectly. Its a quality case. This is the perfect case for a Seagate Hard drive. Solid and fits nicely in a travel bag or suitcase and will not allow for external damage to the drive. Cant go wrong with this purchase!

Well for me it did protect my hard drive which fell...so it did give me the protection needed. Plus the extra room for cord etc...
