Wow, what a GREAT case. If you are looking for PROTECTION this is the perfect case. Having your drive protected means that the case is thick, big, and will occupy more space than the drive without it. If you dont like bulky cases, dont buy this one. But I have to say, I prefer to have my drive well protected inside my back pack, than naked. I love this case.

This case was suggested by Amazon for the WD 4TB My Passport SSD External Portable Solid State Drive (WDBAGF0040BGY-WESN). The drive is only about 2 1/4 inches wide but the case opening is about 3 1/2 inches wide, so the drive can slide around. And the drive is only about 1/4 thick but the case opening is about 3/8 so the drive is not held in place. DO NOT BUY THIS CASE FOR THIS DRIVE.

Case is great except a few stray threads hanging off. I am afraid to trim as it could fall apart! It fits well and has compartments for everything.
