This item is small and compact. Fits in any space. Love that theres a space for the cords and other items you may wish to carry with backup hard drive. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for something to hold their backup hard drives.

I got this to protect my new blue WD Passport 2TB hard drive. Fits a little snug, but will close. Hopefully keeps my drive in good shape.

This Lacdo version has padding, but it is too snug for the Western Digital 2TB Passport which is what I bought it for. So I had to swap it out for one of my 1TB drives. The construction of the Lacdo seems cheap, at least in comparison to the Amazon version. For example the lanyard does not open smoothly.But if you are not a believer, buy both (the Lacdo and the Amazon) and compare for yourself. The waterproof feature seems attractive at first, but in hind sight, if your hard drive drive is near copious amounts of water...it seems that you would have other more serious problems to worry about.

This works good for what I need, but just be advised that it is in no way waterproof like the title indicates. It might be resistant to a light misting on the surface of the case, but that is it.
