> 3 dayOh how I love Lactaid. The older I get, the more I wonder how anyone can live without this stuff. It allows the lactose intolerant to enjoy ice cream without fearing that your subsequent gas will clear the building. It makes it possible to stop for pizza while on a road trip without having to ride with windows down for the rest of the day. It makes wine-and-cheese-hour possible for those who otherwise have sprint to a restroom immediately afterward. And it certainly helps with the gas cramps; we all know how miserable that can be. Buy Lactaid. Just do it. Youll thank me later.

> 3 dayJust to lop on the dog pile here, this Lactaid pills are great. Ive used this stuff for years, and I even have turned on a couple friends to these. I take a pill before and during eating dairy. Im moderately lactose intolerant, so even with this stuff I dont brave things like ice cream or straight milk, but cheese pizza is well within the window of survivability. On some instances for me Ive found that Lactaid pills wont take away certain undesired effects of lactose intolerance (you know what Im talking about), but it has taken away the sickly feeling and nausea which is well worth the price. This may be because Im more lactose intolerant than the typical light user. Some of you are probably wondering whether you should get the caplet or chewables. Ive used both, and there is no difference as far as which one works better or worse, theyre both great. If you have trouble taking pills or pills you may have to take semi-dry (these are standard Advil/Motrin sized caplet styled pills), you should go with the chewables. Otherwise, I would highly recommend going with caplets. The chewables have a pleasant taste at first, but after 60 of them, the vanilla flavoring starts being rather repulsive. The caplets you will never taste, and they go down easily. Also, they typically are of comparable price.

> 3 dayI am lactose intolerant, and I have recently tried to cut out dairy. However, there are times that I want some cheese on my pasta or what not and this product allows me to have it without tearing up my stomach. I usually used to get super gassy and have stomach pain. Now, after using this, it seems to have lessen the effects and almost make those gas pains go away completely.

> 3 dayI’ve seemingly developed lactose intolerance to several dairy products. I suffered from bad cramping and hours of diarrhea after eating these foods. I decided to give this a try and see if it helped, and it did. Now, I just get sone very minor cramping but nothing further. The first food I tried after receiving this was baked ziti with lots of gooey cheese :) it was great to be able to enjoy it.

> 3 dayFor those who are slightly lactose intolerant this might be the medicine that actually makes a difference in your life. I know before eating a bowl of ice-cream I take 1-2 pills and an hour later Im not bloated or in pain from stomach cramps.

> 3 dayWorks the way it says it does, I cannot be without this wonderful fast acting pill. I have become Lactose Intolerant during the past 6 months, after being able to eat most anything my whole life. Not sure why it happens that you can go for decades without being intolerant and all of a sudden BAM, now you are...but I would not be able to eat my favorite ice cream or eat milk chocolate without taking Lactaid Fast Act with those things. I would be heartbroken if I had to give those things up! Lucky for me, Lactaid Fast Act works wonderfully for me.

Greater than one weekThese Lactaid Fast Act Lactose Intolerance Relief Caplets have been helpful to me. Routinely, I have a bad reaction to dairy - stomach pains and red rashes. They reduce the stomach pain.

> 3 dayIve been lactose intolerant since Ive been 33. And the product has improved over the decades I first used it in terms of stability: previously it went bad with an odd smell after a while. Now it is separately wrapped (but expensive). It can be kept in your wallet, coat, desk, etc. for those impulse ice cream or milk or butter/cheese filled products (e.g. pesto, pizza). Not needed for yogurt. I also prefer buying the cheaper bottle of the 1/3 dose in the bottle for home use. The single use caplets are greatly wrapped for airtight. I dont purchase the chewable tablets, which are larger in size. I often bite the tablets, which makes the tablets work more efficiently, and gulp it down with what Im eating (the directions say you just take the tablet whole with the first bite of the dairy food). If you continue to eat a meal with butter, (etc) you have to take additional tablets after 30-45 minutes, since the tablet will be down the intestine and cant handle what new food is there. E.g. if you are having a long cheese dessert, or a pizza party.
