I was diagnosed with diverticulitis by my doctor, but found out later on my own that it was just gas and bloating pain from lactose intolerance. These pills help me enjoy dairy products from time to time. They really help.

These tablets are the real thing! Ive had so much trouble with generic brands - they simply dont work. These are the only ones Ive found that make me feel great!

Im not diagnosed as lactose intolerance, Ive just noticed that milk tends to make me nauseous and sick so I stay away from it. This hasnt been a big deal except for my protein shakes- I exercise a lot- and within 5 minutes of drinking a whey protein shake I get really sick. I had to switch to egg protein- extremely expensive and hard to find- soy protein tastes nasty. A friend told me to try these pills. Just had a whey protein shake- a brand and flavor that previously made me sick- and nothing! No nausea! I feel great. Very exciting, a whole new world has been opened to me now. Definitely recommend.

I must have an extreme lactose intolerance allergy because I have to swallow 3 to 4 pills every time I east dairy. It does not act any faster than the regular one. The one thing I dont like is that each pill is individually wrapped. Thats fine if you are taking some out with you. But there should be another version where they are loose in the bottle. But since they dont, Ill just go back to the regular kind.

This lets me eat stuff that would otherwise make me painfully gassy. Welcome back to my life fresh cheeses, ice cream and whipped cream. Fact: 60% of the world struggles with digesting dairy. Fact: Most cheese are easy to digest for people because cheese is made from the curds that you separate from the whey in milk. The whey has the lactose (which makes it difficult to digest) in it. Also, as cheese ages, whatever lactose is in it, slowly goes away. The more aged the cheese, the easier to digest. Please vote yes or helpful for this review. Thank you!

I am 27 years old. Up until about two years ago I would have a glass of 2% milk with breakfast every morning(or Id have it with cereal). Suddenly I started noticing Id get a stomachache right after Id have breakfast, so after some trial and error I cut my beloved milk out. Some months later I thought Id try again, and had a glass of it with a brownie. Shortly after, I got sudden nausea that had me running for the bathroom. I accepted my new lactose intolerant fate. My friend told me about these pills and I decided to give it a try so I wouldnt have to cut out dairy(which I couldnt do anyway, I love it too much). They work like a dream as long as I remember to take them, and if I forget, the toilets are the ones that suffer the consequences. I just take one right before my first bite, anytime I think my meal has too much dairy in it. I havent had a single problem after taking them and its been about a year since I started. Will likely be buying these until the day I die.

This little pill allows me to eat dairy anytime I wish. A while ago I called the company wanting to know how long the pill is effective. That is, if I take a pill at noon do I need to take another pill before another dairy meal at 3 pm. The representative I spoke to did not know.

I was unaware of my lactose intolerance until a year ago, and since then I learned to avoid or control my consumption of products with dairy. However, with this product, I have begun to consume things like pizza, ice cream, and cheeseburgers with little worry about flatulence. If you are unsure whether or not you have lactose intolerance, then get the smaller pack and try it out. Its a small investment toward a much improved lifestyle. The best thing for a student would be to put one or two in your backpack just in case you are invited to go out to eat after class or work. I still prefer drinking soy milk, but having a coffee with cream or a very cheesy pizza are just some of the finer things in life that should never be avoided. The tablets come in individual packets, so they are easy to carry around. Chew it with your first bite; it is tasteless (read: does not affect the taste of your food at all) and breaks apart very easily with a few good chomps.

I grew up drinking milk, lots of it. My brother and I could finish a gallon in a day. I enjoyed a life of dairy and regular bowel movements. Then I dated a vegan for six months. I switched to almond milk, learned to make some really good vegan food, and found some great dairy substitutes. After that relationship came to an end I tried to rekindle my relationship with milk and cheese and ice cream. I am after all, a pastry chef, so butter, milk, and cheese are essential to my livelihood. My reintroduction to diary did not go very smoothly. My bowel movements became... less regular. I had not correlated these symptoms with lactose intolerance until my bother, whom had also dated a vegan, described a situation similar to my own. Lactaid has helped me regain my pre-vegan lifestyle and has made my work bearable again. Sometimes I forget an individual packet in my work pants, but they have survived the washing machine/dryer every time. Just know that if you date a vegan and it doesnt work out, these work and youll need them for the rest of your dairy loving life.
