Unfortunately the rubber grip pad will not stay on this stand so it isn’t very useful. revised review: As a result of my original review the company contacted me to offer to replace my original purchase with an updated version that should solve the rubber grip pad problem. I appreciate their efforts to satisfy.

A friend had given me a stand for my iPhone X and I really like the concept. It was nice to have it where I could see it while working on the computer so Id know when I absolutely needed to see what was coming in. The one challenge I had was the angle of the stand wasnt correct for face detection. With the Lamicall stand, that problem is non-existent. Fully adjustable, I can control the height of the phone as well as the angle so that facial recognition no longer requires me to change my seating position. The full rubberized cover for the portion of the phone which actually holds the phone prevents any scratches or nicks, and prevents sliding of the phone out of the phone rest. I would high recommend this item and Id buy another in heartbeat for iPad.

The stand itself functions as intended. It does hold the switch. However, the rubber grip comes off very easily. When it is on, it does protect the switch from scratches on the covered area, but the joint above the rubber is exposed metal. This will absolutely scratch your switch. I had mine for one day, and this stand scratched two large marks across the back of the device. They wont buff out either, these are permanent scratches on an otherwise pristine new device. Very disappointed in that fact. If the rubber covered a larger area and didnt slip off easily, this wouldnt have happened. But because it slides off while taking the device off, the rubber becomes useless and forces the devices onto the metal joint. EDIT: This review was initially 2 stars. Im bumping it up to 3. I was contacted by the company (they reached out to me, I didnt contact them) and they apologized and asked to make it right by refunding the purchase. They were polite and professional and I do really appreciate that as not all sellers are as understanding. With that said, I do feel like the product itself is still lacking, and I would happily pay for the stand and have a switch that isnt all scratched up. So while I do not feel that the product itself deserves more stars I did bump it up by one because of how good CS was about it. I would like to take it up to 4 but I feel like if I were a prospective customer I would want to know about this problem. Product: 2/5 stars Customer Service 5 stars

This idea great little stand. I have no idea why electronics companies still put the power port on the bottle of devices. I wanted a way To charge my Switch and still play when I am not docked. This stand allows me to do just that. It folds into a nice compact size that can be stuck in a pocket. I have 2 of these. My only complaint would be that the edges should be chamferred/deburred a bit more. The edges wont cut you (unless there is a sharp burr remaining) but will scratch anything they rub against. One of my stands has a small burr. I will just file it off. Thankfully it was on my silver one and I wont be filing off any of the nice red finish of my second stand.

I like to play my Switch in bed with this atop a lapdesk. The standard kick stand that is built into the Switch doesnt offer the proper angle of view for playing in this way, and it naturally slides around in my case. This product is fully adjustable for the getting the perfect angle and has grips on the bottom to prevent it from sliding around. The rubber in place for holding whichever device you use with it is also a nice touch, to prevent scratching.

This is a very useful stand though I preferred using it for my cell phone rather than for my nintendo.
