This is a fantastic stand at a very fantastic price. VERY stable whether my ipad is in hotdog or hamburger mode, and it fits my ipad even with its protective cover on. Its quite minimal and has a very small footprint on the counter. Now only if they could find a way to integrate a powered speaker into the base.....

I got this stand specifically to improve the angle for video calls with an iPad (Pro). The stand is great for this purpose. It is sturdy and attractive and well worth the price.

This stand works well for my Apple iPad Air2 which has the 9.7 screen. The hinge is stiff enough to hold the tablet in its place but not so stiff as to not be able to reposition the tablet easily. The stand is heavy enough to support the iPad Air2 without wobbling or feeling top-heavy even when the tablet is in its portrait layout. The stand has pads so as to not scratch the tablet and also to not slide around on the desk. There is a cut out in the base of the holder so that you can charge the tablet while in portrait mode which is a very useful feature. Very good product for the money. I will likely purchase a second one for my work desk.
