Greater than one weekFor starters, Im ALWAYS on the lookout for bigger and better backpacks. This one really fits the bill! Let me (literally!) count the ways: 42.28 Liters is the SIZE of this gentle giant! If that aint LARGE, I dont know what is! ;o) I have been doing a lot of traveling as of late, and was able to put this guy through its paces a few days ago. This Yamdeg Backpack has a lot of great features. Plenty of pockets is a must-- this pack has 15, yes 15 of them! I almost misplaced my stuff within this pack when I literally forgot where I put them! ;o) That what a LOT of pockets will do! ;o) The two mesh outside pockets seem larger than usual to me, which is great for holding larger travel mugs and the like. They are reinforced too, with a finer mesh on the inside of them... I havent seen that before. Ticks another box, those mesh pockets. There are five zippered compartments for want of a better word. One fairly shallow starting with the front of the pack, a medium compartment is next, with both a wide pocket and smaller pockets within for your pens, niche items and whatnot, a large (Ill say HUGE!) luggage-like compartment complete with elastic straps within to hold your clothes together on one side, plus a padded laptop pocket on the other side of this section. This compartment completely opens up flat, with clothes on one side and the laptop gear on the other side, which is helpful for those TSA guys checking out your computer stuff. Lastly, the fifth zippered compartment is hidden at the backside of this pack, for you to stash important things you cant afford to lose that may affect you getting around, like passports. Well call that the anti-theft compartment, shall we? ;o) Technology components or ports are available too, like a USB cable and connecting port so you can charge/use your phone whilst the power bank resides in a special inside mesh pocket for example. Ive never had that option before either, and theres not one, but two of these inner mesh pockets (!) residing next to the zippers on both sides of the backpack in what I call the fourth or luggage compartment. Love, love that feature-- nice touch, that one! (Speaking of which, theres only one USB cable connector that is available above one of the mesh pockets.) There are two porthole options that reside on the right side of the backpack looking at it from the front, one for your headphones and the other is labeled USB; obviously for you to connect using your own cable(s) for your devices, be it a for power bank or whatever connection you desire. Ticked another box, that one! This pack has a comfortable padded handle at the top, straps to tighten your luggage compartment so the pack rests on your back compactly. My shoulders are thanking the company that designed these padded, yet breathable shoulder straps as my backpack was filled to the gills and a bit heavy for me. I was heading home after spending a lot of time at one place, and I needed to fill every inch of this sturdy well-made pack, should you want to know. Zippers were sturdy too, come to think of it. And a great way to take a break, you can plunk the backpack on your suitcase retractable handle, using the convenient luggage strap. There are no cons to speak of, save a small wish after dashing through the airport: I wish the laptop section was in a compartment by itself. I was worried some of my clothing items would fall out, like socks and t-shirts that werent contained by the crisscrossed elastic luggage straps. I had to move rather quickly to take out both my computer and tablet out of this backpack to put in the tray for TSA scanning. This particular airport is notorious for making you do that, and it doesnt help matters when they are super busy! One of my other backpacks had this independent laptop compartment feature, but I couldnt use it, because it was too small. Enough said! Do yourself a favor, get this wonderful backpack for yourself! You wont regret it! Have a superb summer coming up! ;o) ******************************************************************************************************* Update: An opportunity to save wee bit of moolah! Right now, there is a 30% off coupon to make your purchase all the sweeter! ******************************************************************************************************** Cheerio and Best of Luck in all your endeavors! Hopefully, this review was helpful.

> 3 dayYamdeg Travel Backpack, Extra Large Carry-on Backpack, 17-inch Laptop Backpack for School College Business with USB, TSA Airline Approved Waterproof Travel Backpack for Women Men, Pink The backpack comes simply packaged in a clear plastic bag to protect it during shipping. Opening the backpack and looking from the back. Has two openings with large zippers, a large central pocket that is subdivided into two small pockets about the size of a back pocket on a pair of jeans, and a zippered pocket to put smaller items in the second zipper pocket in the back opens up to be quite large and has two long pockets in the back that are about 5 in wide and about 10 in deep along with a larger area pocket to open up on. There is also a short lanyard with a clip that is probably intended for a key clip. The very outside of the back of the backpack is a pocket of about 8x10. Thats all one big open space with no sub-pockets or dividers. I think the first smaller pocket in the back is the one that is laptop capable because it seems to have some padding on the inside, on the very back part of the backpack. The way the padding feels, (without cutting it open to look) it seems to me that that is a closed cell foam which is pretty good against bumps and protection against small damages. On both sides of the backpack are elastic web pockets that look like theyre designed for a water bottle or similar. On the back part of the backpack, where it goes up against your back, there is a small padded pocket that seems to be a water-resistant lining. And two more padded sections about where your shoulder blades would go. Opening up the main storage portion of the backpack, on either side. There is a buckle strap so that you can cinch it closed more tightly, and take pressure off the zipper in case you have a lot of things inside your backpack. There is a large elastic x shape with a buckle in the middle to secure a laptop or other large object, and there is a wire protruding in from the USB outlet on the side with a USBA connector that is right next to a mesh pocket so you could put a battery pack inside the backpack, close everything up, and still be able to plug your phone in to charge from your battery pack on the inside, without opening the pack. Still looking at the inside of the backpack, the side opposite to where the battery connector is is a large open pocket that is secured by a Velcro strap that is big enough to put file folders or books into. All in all, this looks like a pretty versatile pack for students, office workers, or just taking a scenic trip. Trip. Its not going to take you hiking in the Sierras, but for the urban mountainscape, I think this would work very well.

> 3 dayThe Yamdeg Travel Backpack is one hefty duty backpack. I did not expect it to be so large (but that’s a good thing!) This backpack feels more like a suitcase. It is extra spacious, with several pockets in, outside and around the case, including pockets on the side for umbrellas and drinks. The description states that this backpack is TSA travel airline approved. It offers breathable padding for your laptop or other important electronics and also offers USB charging and an interface for headphones. This backpack comes in 4 different colors, but I chose the blue. My only concern is that the top of the backpack was showing signs of unraveling at the top (take a look at first photo). It’s not a lot, but I hope it doesn’t spread with use. Its worth the $39.98 price tag. I recommend this item.

> 3 dayI had a similar backpack to this but only catered to smaller laptop/devices. This one gives you a bit more room and it opens all the way. The inner part does have a holder for your charger if youre to use it that connects outside. Unfortunately its only regular USB as most of our devices are USB-C. The good thing though is the middle compartment does have a pass through for cables if youre to use other cables and/or wired headphones. A pretty versatile backpack. Will have to wait to see the durability on the zippers as my old ones ended up having a kink and would made opening it difficult. ✓ Lots of storage room! ✓ Last compartment opens all the way! ✓ Pass through for USB/devices/cables ✓ Sleek solid color, no flashy brand logo

Greater than one weekThis backpack has a lot of storage space in it. If I count all the zippered spaces as separate there are 6 different sections. One zippered storage is internal and feels like you could store some laptop accessories in it. The ones on the outside are either for books or small electronic devices (since it has a bit of extra padding over it). The two main zippered areas have enough space for everything. One has some extra straps to hold your laptop in place as well as an internal USB connection for times when you want to charge a device while keeping it in the bag (though youll want to be careful about how much heat it generates while charging). Unfortunately, its just a USB type A connection on both ends, so depending on the device you might need an adapter for USB C (which is becoming more common on newer devices). All in all though this is a good backpack for people who arent going to schools that require those see-through ones. Also the hot-pink color stands out so that you probably wont have any trouble looking for this backpack in a pile of backpacks.

> 3 dayI like that this backpack is lightweight and has a large capacity, but I’m afraid of overloading it a ripping at the stitching because these seem to be of very cheap thread. The material is nice and water repellent, but not waterproof by any means. Furthermore, the zippers are also on the cheap side… so don’t expect them hold tons of weight as this backpack was only intended to hold clothes and maybe a light laptop and tablet. Overall, I give it four stars because it meets its purpose at an affordable price point.

Greater than one weekThis is a nice large backpack. Seems like most nowadays are smaller. This size is about the max that can fit in an overhead compartment on a plane and I imagine is deliberate. Nice quality with all the usual extra pockets and compartments. Well made also. A good deal. :)

> 3 dayThis backpack is much nicer than I expected. It has all the storage capacity and features that I could ask for, and more. It’s extra large, oversized, with ample storage space, and numerous compartments. The laptop compartment offers good protection, and it’s airline approved for carry on. The polyester material is lightweight, durable, and water resistant. The red color more closely resembles pink. The straps are wide and comfortable, it also has a top carry handle. The zippers are smooth and function well. It has side water bottle pockets, a luggage strap, and a convenient built in USB interface. A power bank can be stored and connected inside the backpack to an embedded USB connector. A USB plug-in on the outside of the backpack is easily accessible for charging on the go. The overall quality is excellent, and it also has a lifetime warranty. It’s certainly suitable for work, school, outdoor activities, or travel. At under $40, it’s an excellent value, an option certainly worthy of consideration. I’m very pleased with this backpack and I highly recommend it. If you’re looking for a big backpack that’s highly functional and loaded with premium features, this one fits the bill.

> 3 dayVery Nice Item! I highly rate recommend this backpack. I purchased this backpack, to use on my travels. When it arrived, I accidentally ordered the one without the wheels. I returned this item, and Re ordered the rolling backpack.

Greater than one weekIve carried some large bags for laptops before. I have been known to travel with two laptops and two iPads and a TSA-intimidating collection of charging cables. This absurdly large backpack beats all of them, except maybe the duffel bag. It has two mesh stretch pockets on the side for bottles or cans. Lots of pockets and layers on the outside, and then theres the small warehouse that is the main pocket. The laptop pocket will hold three laptops. No joke. I should get a photo of that situation, but the picture I shared has my XPS 15 9570 in a plastic shell. I had this, a guaiboshi laptop sleeve (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0BQ5YZSW5, originally meant to hold another ultrabook), and the other ultrabook (a Toshiba of some sort, cant remember the model). Id be confident that my new 16 Macbook Pro in a plastic shell and the XPS 15 in a shell *and* an iPad Pro 12.9 in keyboard case would fit comfortably and safely in just the laptop sleeve. I also had about 20 fiber optic cables, a few chargers, a very large 160+ watt battery pack, and some Rocketbook notebooks and it still had room. The other photo shows a Logitech ergonomic keyboard that, without the fiber cables, would pretty much fit inside the pocket. I think that some internal organization, like packing/compression cubes, would make this amazing for even 2-3 days travel. Since I no longer need to travel with 2-3 devices, I scaled back to a much smaller bag, but this one is on deck for my next weekend trip. I should also call out the external USB charging and USB/headphone gaskets on the side. I put a little 5000mAh batter in the internal pocket and connected it to the external jack, where I had a 3-in-1 cable for lightning, usb-c, and microusb. I could have run another cable out through the port on the side, along with a headphone cable if Id chosen to put my iPod inside. I never was too fond of this battery pack function but I liked it in this bag. Itd be even more comfortable when stuck in an airport and not wanting to plug into the wall. Even with the stupidly large size of this bag, I had to give it five stars. I try not to do that often, but in this case, it was a very unique success story.
