My grandparents used Lava soap at their cabin in Montana 50 years ago. I have been ordering it for 15 years. Great for washing up after working on cars, doing yard work. It cleans your hands without drying them out.

I have used Lava for decades. It is the BEST for getting your hands clean from paint, dirt, grease and other hard to get off stuff. Under the nails... scrape it off the bar with the nails and use a nail scrub brush... Im tellin ya the stuff is great. I can get paint on that stays for a while, jump in the shower and just use it like a regular bar soap and voila - gone!

This soap works really well getting stuff off regular soap doesn’t. My husband and I were painting our duplex and had paint on us and we used this and it got it off easily. My husband works on his Jeep and it helps clean the grease. I always have a hard time cleaning up after being in the garden and this soap works really well with that too. We always make sure We have it on hand

My husband works on mechanical projects and always gets his hands really dirty with grease and oil so has used Lava soap for many years. However, it seems to be harder to find at local stores lately and usually never available in bulk so I was pleased to be offered a good price online through an Amazon third party vendor. It took about a week to get it but it should last us quite a while.

I have been using this soap since my dermatologist some forty plus years ago recommended it. I have a hard time finding it in stores now. Amazon to the rescue! Honest workhorse ingredients that don’t irritate my skin.
