Layrite Original Pomade

Not sticky, super product!!

Super easy to use even for first timers. The smell is amazing. Lasts pretty long but will definitely be going with the strong hold next as driving with windows down can take its toll

This provides an excellent medium hold even when the shine dissipates. The smell is a little old school, but some of the newer pomades seem to favor a strong scent over excellent performance.

It goes in like a pomade, but it gets greasy in hot areas and makes messes. Doesnt last and is not what I expect from Layrite. Use the natural matte creme... so much better.

The product is good value for volume and works with retaining style shape. It does have a more chemical smell and takes a bit of time to wash out of hair. I usually use Aveda pomade which is much more expensive but washes out very nicely and has a more plant based ( I think eucalyptus) smell. I think I prefer the Aveda but my teenage son will like this product

Jai testé pleins mais pleins de cire ! Cest la meilleure pour moi de très loin. Cheveux Epais qui ondule ( type caucasien ) Essayé sur cheveux très court, court et un peu avant mi-long 1. Belle effet sur les cheveux, facile à modeler ne se fige pas de suite, mais ensuite tienne la journée sans soucis 2. Facile à enlever, Water soluble. Pas comme certaines cire ou même après un shampoing il y en a encore ... 3. Pas néfaste pour les cheveux, contrairement à ENORMEMENT de cire ! ( Reuzel, Loreal, schwarzkopf et jen passe..) elle obtient la note correct ( pour une cire ) 36/100 sur appli Yuka 4. Odeur agréable, jai vu mieux mais la cest agréable pas une odeur trop forte Pour moi franchement cest du tout bon, je ne peux que recommander. Si je dois vraiment trouver des défauts je dirais que au bout dune GRANDE journée la qualité de la cire sur les cheveux se dégrade un peu Je RECOMMANDE vivement !

My barber used this pomade on my hair and it was really great! Wasn’t sticky, held all day and washed out easily. As long as this brand is available I will always use it!

I have short hair and wanted to wear a wet look. Its convenient and takes like 3 minutes to style my hair out of the shower versus drying and then flat-ironing. I bought medium hold and it held my hair in place the entire day at work and way after I got home. Ill definitely use it again and will most likely buy the larger size when Im ready for a second purchase!
