Lazy Dog Warehouse Neoprene Sponge Foam Rubber Sheet Roll - 15in x 60in (1/4in Thick)

Bought this roll (15x60x0.25) to line the bottom of my trucks toolbox. It turns out to be very soft material, even softer than a pool noodle. Seems to be high quality material but I will have to see how well it will hold up with my tools bouncing around on top of it. Would make great seating material or a similar application.

I bought a roll of this to use with some older mechanical keyboards that I had which were quite noisy, but now I put it in all my builds. Its pretty thick, but most frames have enough space inside to at least partially fill with this foam. It reduces the noise A LOT, and makes the whole board feel a lot more solid. Youll need to do your own trimming and cutting, but this stuff is pretty easy to work with just using a nice sharp pair of scissors and an x-acto knife. Id highly recommend it for use in noise dampening applications in various tech projects since it doesnt cause any issues with electronics or circuitry on its own.

I have used this as a vibration buffer in the joints between some self made Monitor Speaker stands. I took 4 wood planks and filled the center with sand, using this foam rubber as a vibration shield between the connection points to the platforms on either end and used a larger portion of the rubber to cover two of those platforms for the Speakers to rest upon. The vibrations are now dispersed between 3 layers of foam and ~20 lbs of sand before they have a chance to reach the floor. No more angry neighbor downstairs and a happier listening experience over all with a little help from this product.

I ordered two, one was fine the other was defective with a hole in the center.

I made a set of bags that ride on top of my saddle bags. I needed a material that wouldnt scratch the plastic covers on the saddle bags. This works very well. In addition, it doesnt slide around, so the bags sit very still (bonus for me). The material is very soft, but not super strong. If you are going to be beating it up, you might want something stiffer.

I have used this in several projects. Some required that I sew through this material, some just used as an inserted padding. This was easy to work with and is holding up well in daily use. The strong rubber smell does fade away.

The material itself is fine, but if you are buying this expecting it to be exactly 15 at all points, you will be sorely disappointed. I cant tell if this was cut by a human or a machine. If it was a human, they should be fired. If it was a machine, it should be set on fire. The cuts were SO BAD that we werent able to line these up edge-to-edge, we had to take an exacto knife and re-cut every single edge. At that point, I should have just bought a single 72x60 sheet instead. And in one case, one of the boxes had been mis-packaged, because the roll folded over on itself (and then someone taped over the fold), so the entire corner of one sheet (like 8 worth) was creased and crumpled and had permanently folded that way, so we couldnt even use that. If you dont care about quality or are going to re-cut these anyway, this is probably fine. But if you are expecting perfect cuts out of the box, find a different product / manufacturer.

I received the roll of Neoprene Sponge Foam Rubber but have not had the opportunity to utilize it yet. But what I can see, it should would out just fine. My plans for it are: I am a coin collector and recently purchased two display case but they came without sponge inside to place the coins on so I intend to cut the foam to the size needed and place in the cases. Cheap...it looked like the edges where cut by a 5 year old with those rounded tip scissors! I only give it 2 stars because it’s doing what I needed it to do but it would be nice if the edges were cut straight so my project wouldn’t look sloppy. Thickness was fine and didn’t smell bad either. Another reason for the 2 stars instead of 1
