For a good quick fix

I have done a lot of diy AC unit insulation using duct tape and cutting up curtains and plugging up tiny holes. Not only did these foam pads do all of the work in about 10 seconds of prepping, they worked probably better. Better seal, better sound proofing, better insulation. Are these traits specific to this brand? Im not sure, I havent test many of these products, but this one did the trick, highly recommend if youre looking for a good way to block out sound, light, keep the bugs out, or whatever. It’s just so easy, and they were mighty large too, so I had plenty of extra to cut off as well.

The plastic piece was bent and the foam did not fit in unfortunately figured that out after I had cut the foam

Good value. Significant improvement over cheap plastic that comes with unit You will want a pair of good scissors and ideally wire cutters or sonething that can snip through thin hard plastic. With those things, you can fully customize this to fit your window.
