> 24 hourI purchased this model but from ebay a few weeks ago, before getting an email from amazon about this model in stock, around the same price. Mine came with the silicone cover, which is a must for screen repairs(makes it so much easier). I cracked my sisters iwatch and bought this machine in order to repair the watch myself. The repair was a complete success thanks to this machine. I was worried that the suction wouldnt be able to support the repair but boy was I wrong. The suction is super strong + silicon piece the iwatch didnt move at all. For $60 dont expect perfectly accurate heat all the time, it will overshoot and undershoot while heating just as any cheap heat machine, if your application needs such accuracy then you are looking at a machine that closing toward 10x the price. This is perfect for screen repair as its intended for.

> 24 hourSome people posted videos showing that this machine understates the temperature of the plate. I disagree, I’d question the tools those folks were using. I am using a very precise thermometer with validated thermocouple and I am getting quite precise readings. The T fluctuates a bit, but it never exceeded the setting I made on the machine. See photos.

> 24 hourThis is a usable product but read this first before buying and decide if its for you. As you can see from the photos it does not come with the L brackets in the photos in the ad. So its a misleading ad. For 500W usage it sure takes a while to heat. Almost a minute or two. My printers using 120W beds heat up faster with a bigger surface area and less voltage, go figure. Probably not 500w. When set to 65C the front of the unit where the heater obviously is got to 72C. The rear got as hot as 68C. This was while the pump was running. This is BAD because it NEEDS to be uniform across the plate. If too cold it wont cut glue and if too hot it can damage the screen. Each phone has its own temps based on the manufacturer. Having a 4 degree Celsius or 7.2 degree Fahrenheit hysteresis across the surface can be risky as far as risking damaging a screen while still being able to cut through the glue. I am upset because I could have made something better from 3D printer parts I have. Just having to order a 12$ pump on ebay and drill some old printer bed. So make sure if you use this to set it lower than needed by about 5C. I cross checked this against my multi-meters thermistor and a thermistor from a 3d printer which I know is 200% accurate. Just dont lower it too much or your wire will start snapping from cold glue and can pull the phone off the unit from fighting the cold glue too much. Almost guaranteeing your failure or breaking parts. If you find yourself fighting it, turn it up 2 or 3 and wait. Also keep the phone towards the upper/cooler part of the plate to reduce risk of accent paint, digitizer, or LCD damage. They have this on other auction sites for 45$ free shipping. Only got it here cause I had a gift card. Hope this helps someone
