> 24 hourBought these to replace some high wattage incandescent bulbs in the basement and garage. They are bright, and illuminate a larger area than their incandescent alternatives. With the cost of energy being what it is today, these bulbs will save you money. The total wattage of the six incandescent bulbs that I replaced was 900 watts verses 84 watts for the six LED bulbs.

I then thought Id try them next to a spot where I read, and voila! I can see printed material so much better. I dont know their longevity, since I just received them, but will track that.
