For the price it is a great bag. It smells like denying leather but is not as heavy and the hardware is fine. At this price point it is excellent. If you want genuine leather and better hardware you will have to spend $600+. This is great for what I use it for.

Purchased this for my new 17 laptop because it fit my criteria: leather with zippered closure, a place to insert suitcase handle in the back, interior padding, zippered pockets and durability. This is perfect. It came very quickly and was well protected. The leather computer case came inside a sturdy cloth bag which would be perfect to use as a laundry bag while traveling. (A bonus.!) Highly recommend.

The workmanship and quality of this briefcase is 1st rate quality. I would recommend this vendor to anyone looking for a good investment in a quality case. I have a buffalo leather shaving case and as a person that used to travel allot of the time this type of leather is the best in durability.
