I have ordered numerous leather cleaners and conditioners over the years. I ordered both the cleaner and the conditioner and it’s the products that have ever restored my leather sofas. The cleaner and the leather conditioner are amazing! My sofas look like new and feel soft and supple again with a soft sheen. I will use these on my leather purses and jackets as well. So glad to find this MADE IN THE USA product. A bit pricy but well worth the extra cost.

I purchased this product to clean and restore two couches I have, both of which had a couple water discoloration spots thanks to a few party fouls at some gatherings. One couch was actually quite old, having been passed down through some friends that werent even the first owner. I have often thought that must have seen quite a lot considering who owned it before me. The leather on this couch was starting to get brittle and beginning to show some evidence of cracking at the creases. Full disclosure, I bought the leather honey conditioner about a week ago, and when I read the instructions I decided to buy the cleaner also and use it first. Im super happy with both and will post a review on the conditioner as well, but this review is about the cleaner. This is a concentrate and must be mixed with water at 2 tablespoons per cup. One thing I would say is a little bit goes a long way. I mixed up a full cup intending to just do the older couch first, then tackle one piece of the much newer living room set later. After cleaning the first couch, and very thoroughly, I still had 6 of my 8 oz of mix left so I ended up doing all the living room set at the same time. Id recommend starting with a half cup or less on your first try, it is super simple to mix up so no biggie if you run out. Application was easy, just wipe it on, taking care not to saturate. The older couch is of the type with some extra material, sort of pleated and wrinkly so it took some extra attention to get all the nooks and crannies. When I was done however, what a difference! it already looked 100 percent better than it did. I guess I had no idea how dirty it really was being a black couch. Im really impressed with how it performed, and will definitely recommend and use again. The application I made dried in about 2 hours, I gave it a full 18 before putting the conditioner on just to make sure but by 3 hours it felt totally dry and the leather did not feel sticky or moist. Just for reference, I kept the room with the couch in it at 72 degrees the during the application and then the whole night, rather than letting it drop down to 65 like normal. The thought was to encourage the evaporation. As it seems i probably didnt need to but it is worth mentioning. Anyway, really happy with how it turned out, and the furniture in the living room turned out great too. I have conditioned the older couch with the Leather Honey conditioner, but havent had time to do the conditioner on the living room furniture. Ill leave a review on the conditioner as well, but it also worked really well.

Tested a small area on a shoulder bag an it seemed to work well. Haven’t had time to do the rest but I think it’s going to work well.

Bought this for leather dress shoes I wear frequently. Ended up needing a brush to get the small cracks as the wash cloth was not doing justice. Also since it has a honey-like texture, the brush helped evenly disperse the product. Let it dry a little before you add the conditioner so it may consume a decent amount of time.

I have been using this very frequently for over two years now on a vintage notebook cover that is very near and dear to me and that I use every day. In my experience, this is the best product on the market.

Absorbs into leather well, appears to restore oils and keep leather pliable. A bit pricey for a small bottle, though- but, on the other hand, a little goes a long way.

I’ve used the combo leather cleaner & conditioner with success that’s obvious visually & to the touch. Furniture that was dull & dried out transformed to pieces sporting rich color & supple texture again. Definitely worth having & using. It takes a little time & some physical work but the outcome is likely to make you happy.

I have a pair of work boots that is *severely* stained from my workplace. This is the only leather cleaner Ive tried that has even taken a bite out of the staining, much less restored some natural color. Ive tried products from Kiwi, Bickmore and Redwing and none have cleaned as effectively as the Leather Honey. That said, there are a couple of caviats. Here are my thoughts after using this product on multiple items, trying out different techniques. Following the directions (diluting, applying to cloth then wiping leather) is useful for lightly soiled items with perhaps some embedded dirt, scuffs or grime that a brush alone cannot remove. This method will clean and preserve the original color/stain/dye of the leather. It will not penetrate the surface much at all. Good, if your item isnt too dirty, and for large surface applications (like leather upholstery). My boots were indeed demonstrably clean, but the stains had not been touched. I also tried using a horse hair dauber brush to apply and scrub the cleaner on my boots. This is a bit messy, as the diluted solution is just about as thin and runny as water. It does however develop a thin lather with scrubbing, and penetrates deeply into the leather. This is how I got to the stains on my boots. I wish I had a before picture to show the difference. A note of caution: using this method will also remove some dye and any surface finish or shoe polish on your item. Shoes will absolutely need new polish applied, and the leather will need conditioning as well. Overall, this is a powerfully versatile leather cleaner. A little does really go a long way. My only criticism is that it doesnt smell the best. Not bad, just not great. I strongly recommend following up the use of this product with Leather Honey Conditioner for an incredibly supple end result. The boot in the photo has not had polish reapplied, but has been conditioned using Leather Honey Conditioner. The other half of the pair was cleaned with Kiwi saddle soap as a comparison, before being cleaned again using the Leather Honey and was still drying at the time of this review.
