If your looking for bright lights look no further. Not sure how Im gonna like them on my deck since they are hard on my eyes being an older woman with an eye issue. Thank goodness we ordered a dimmer.

I brought 3 and 1 out of them The led chips have gone out but even with those out their still very bright.

Very simple to install, clips fit perfect and these lights couldnt be brighter! May be getting another set soon!

Just received, just installed : I have a large deck and wanted to see everywhere but keep the light softer than direct house bulbs or spotlights, found these strips. The 50 ft easily spanned my 16x30 deck, with a few feet taken off at the end for the plug part of the cord. There is a groove set under my handrail and, at the suggestion of another review, I opted for warm white AND turned them up. The deck ambiance is beautiful ! Now, since I got two of the 50 ft strips, the second was lined down the stair handrail and pointed out....POW ! No kidding these are bright ! Total proof I need to pressure wash LOL. The lights went all the way down my stairs to the ground and had enough left over to lay (facing out) across a low brick wall. You can see everything in my back yard now, even the barn glows 60 ft across the grass. My pup appreciates it definitely! Tech Aspects : These strips (not ropes) are thick, made for the outdoors for sure and were really easy to install with the supplied clips, end caps and plugs. BUT here are a couple things to think about and the manufacturer/supplier should as well....because mine are hanging down, I got another set of same style clips {100 Pack LED Strip Light Mounting Brackets, Silicon Fixed Clips with 200 Screws Included (Ideal for 10mm Wide IP67/68 Waterproof Strip Lights)}. You will need supplemental support for the weight of these strips, package came with 25/30. These others are a little softer and are a lil more stretchy than the original but worked fine... maybe you can find something closer to original. ALSO, The 1/4 screws supplied with these strip lights dont have enough bite for the clips & what youre screwing into, use 3/8 at least. Luckily, my supplemental purchase for the additional mounts had the perfect size & I used them for all mounts. The Plugs are not grounded (3 prong) so I would suggest some sort of cover for where they meet your power source. Ive tucked mine under the handrail and have them wrapped in heavy painter plastic and clipped them inside an outlet cover box (but hey, thats me). Future Thoughts : Im hoping that these last a good while because (a) theyre pretty and (b) its a buggar bending over and setting them under a handrail BUT theyre thicker than other outdoor lights Ive had in the past, so thats a point in favor AND these are reasonably enough priced that I would not have a problem purchasing them again, even with the notes above. .

Bright, flexible, looks nice. They don’t tell you the exact dimension! They mention diameter but the cross section is not a circle, but a rectangle!! It’s flat with four sides. I think I read somewhere (wasn’t easy to find)width is 12mm, but don’t know what the height is. It appears to be 10-12 mm. Why does it matter? Two aluminum channels I bought to hide the lights and get a diffuse lighting didn’t fit. Their channel depth is 8mm which seems standard but is too low for this product so after I put the light strip in, the plastic cap of the channel doesn’t really fit. Bummer. Unless I can find another channel that fits I will return this product.

For my purpose I could have had the leds spaced out at twice the distance as it is almost too bright. I am lighting my garage interior for a CC camera and its almost as bright as with the florescent lights on. I chose length to ensure it would cover most of the area. The included mounting clamps were great for most of this installation. I dont know why the kit included an extra transformer IF these lights last like others Ill be dead before its needed.

These lights are great and the plastic around them is very water and weather resistant. The instructions have some precautions if you decide to cut them to a shorter length, but if not they have been good through rain. 4 Stars for install because then tend to recoil back up - I straightened them out for a few days with rocks on them before I put them up. Also, they are VERY bright. If thats what youre going for theyre great, but theyre a lot brighter than standard holiday lights. I use them to light our deck for parties and theyre perfect for that.

I ordered 3000k and received 5000k. The hard part is that i installed the light in a grove around the top of my deck, this took a couple of hours getting it to lay flat and remain hidden from direct view. I then ran the power and turned it on for the first time only to discover it was not the color temperature that i ordered. The light works great just not what i ordered

I was disappointed at first by how small around they were as I had tracks up to keep them straight. However, I was able to use the tracks with a little adjustment, and they look really great. Exactly what I wanted.

Overall these seem good. As you can see, they Are Bright! And I didn’t even use the whole roll. I do wish the mounting pieces were rigid instead of soft and pliable. Also, the screws that came with them are kind of short. Now we wait and see how long they last.
