Larger than the ones found in the pet store which works great for my crested gecko when cleaning his cage or traveling.

Nice size, perfect for my critters. Lightweight and easy to move around. The lid is a little difficult to open.

Of all the Kritter Keepers I have have had over the years, this is the one I am most unhappy with. I have three other X-Large sized cages at home, but they are more spacious than this one (hard to tell if supplied measurements were from base or top of cage), and that is what I had expected. Ive never seen a cage this size before. That aside, the main issue I have with this is that the lid does not come on and off easily. It is really tight on the main plastic cage and you really have to work at it to get it off. Usually lids I have had for all Kritter Keepers in the past come on and off easily once you pull out the little indented areas, but this one is way too tight and it really requires a lot of force to get it off.

    Greater than one week

Kritter Keeper looks like it will do the job, but I received one with a hot pink lid rather than the blue one pictured. I absolutely hate hot pink. Thats my gripe.

I ordered this container to be a home for a Giant Desert Centipede. It is a great container for my centipede because the sides are tall enough that escape is impossible. The small feeding door on the top of the lid is easy to open. I do have to agree with the comment written by another person that the lid itself is difficult to remove. The lid is very tight and requires some perseverance to get off. For that reason, Ive given it four stars. Other than the lid being tricky to remove, I really like this container.

I bought two of these Kritter Keepers to house my science class pets. We have 4 hermit crabs. Each crabitat has two crabs living inside of it, and I am pleased with the size of the Keepers. The depth is enough that my crabs have 3-4 inches of substrate to dig, as well as lot of room for a climbing wall. They seem to be pleased with their new home. The cage itself is a sturdy material that seems durable. Im quite pleased with this purchase. My students will be taking the crabs home, and so it was important for it to be sturdy without being bulky.

This works great for my baby crested gecko. A great balance of ventilation while also retaining humidity for a portion of the day. Prolly helps that I also have a piece of cork bark in there. Only thing is the top can be hard to take off.

Lee"s Rectangular Kritter Keepers may be used as space-saving aquariums or insect havens, but are also ideal for use as kritter totes, terrariums or nurseries.
