My boys adore this tunnel. They all pile into it and squish together. They also use it as a means of travel. I like that I can get creative with the shape. Very easy to use and clean. They have torn some of the fabric and fuzz from the inside of it, but that is to be expected with my mischievous little rat boys. I would not call this item chew proof, but I’d get it if you have rats that love being cozy and warm
