I’m a long time LEGO fan and this very satisfying build took me right back in time to my childhood. So far, I’m working on the body of the ship, and just the body alone is comprised of hundreds of bricks. No large pieces; which is such a huge plus in my opinion, because later on I might want to use the pieces to create another design of my own. I have had to really think through some of the more complex parts of the build; as well, so I think this LEGO model is a great project for sharpening problem solving skills for adults and children. I also think it will be a good project for parents and children to work on together. Over all, I gave this LEGO project a 5 star rating, for build satisfaction, for playability, and for imagination.

As a crazy Lego fanatic, I made it to page 4 and had to give this a 5 star review. Set is originally 99 at local store, idk if I can say where I got mine or if its allowed to give the real retail value price. It will go up after Its discontinued (reviewed Jan 1st 2021 atm). They dont sell fast, but far worth the cost!!!! This creator will be found and followed! This is my first set with original pieces, I have no clue how to fabricate into designs yet! The sails! Now, Lego has some nice ships with some costly price tags from older sets. But do you have a set that makes the entire stop motion film? From the pub collecting your treasure map, to the boat sailing on your adventure, to arrive at skull island and collect that booty. For me to say this tops the Lego power miners is outrageously a top piece worthy from gifting to having in your own collection. Disclaimer from picture. set comes with 1 orange lego seperator. /// 1. ruler > any true fanatic will have one, save the brain for design not counting studs or height. 2. screwdriver > not a lego piece but battery replacement tool, 3 hole punch Lego technic sets. X = belt carry case > Lego throwbot or slizer case. Add an extra 14 years to realize my age. This is what made me a technic master builder. Cannon fired 5 feet easily across room like the minifig guns. I hope my review told you its worth it for many types of interests from building to entertainment.

Our 6 yr old is into legos and this one hes building so far on his own. Hes loving it.

As soon as I saw this, I knew I wanted to get it for my son. He loves to destroy and rebuild so I feel like I really get my moneys worth with the 3-in-1 sets. The ship is just as amazing in person as it is in the picture. It was a bit more challenging (hes 8), so it at least took him a while to get it put together. He loves all the little details, from the moving parts to the skeleton.
