> 3 dayWe are longtime Lego fans and have an extremely large collection of Duplo. There are many good things about Duplo: easy for kids to manipulate, easy to keep clean, sturdy, integrates easily with many other toys, and you can keep using it even as kids grow into normal size Lego. Ive rated this set three stars because it is a little short on building and play potential relative to other Duplo sets. The main advantage of the set is that it is low priced and so makes a good small gift. The size of the set and the fact that the animals are stuck in poses (movable limbs is more typically found on larger Duplo figures) makes the set a bit thin and less interesting. I would either recommend paying a little bit more for a set with more pieces, or look at the Farm Animals set (#10870) which, to my eyes, has more play potential.

18-11-2024This is a nice little set of Duplo animals. They can be played with on their own or with other Duplos. Highly recommended!

> 3 dayLEGO Duplos are always great toys for younger kids and this small set delivers in the baby animal department. It is targeting kids from 2 years old and up with four cute animals and five accessory pieces. The detailing on the animals is kid friendly and the figures are properly sized for small children. Although I would have loved for the arms, legs, heads to move, I recognize: 1) small children may not get much out of that; 2)it would have introduced too many small parts that could be choking hazard. In other words, LEGO knew what they were doing and did it right. Overall, I think this is a great set for younger children and will spark their creativity and imaginations.

Greater than one weekThese are what you expect from the Duplo sets. Unfortunately the animals don’t have any give to them and aren’t posable, so that’s something to keep in mind. These are advertised for ages 2 and up, but seem pretty basic for my two yr old (he likes toys he can manipulate and ultimately break). I’d dare to say that for a one year old, this would be perfect. There are a just a few pieces to make a tree with so it’s not too intense and nothing I’d worry about my kid choking on. As usual, LEGO brand is quality and you know what you’re paying for (for the most part).

> 3 dayLEGO Duplo Town for Baby Animals Building Bricks 9 pc. Set for age 2 and up. The Set comes a baby Giraffe, a baby Panda, a baby Tiger, a baby Elephant, a Tree and a Flower. Everything is very easy for little hands to assemble. The details on the animals are very good and not easy to break. They are a a real early first step to real Legos and not a expensive as Legos usually are.

> 3 dayThis set makes a nice addition to a duplo set of as a starter set for a young toddler. My kids like the animals and it adds versatility to the regular blocks they have. It’s a very small set that doesn’t require much building which makes it great for the car or the diaper bag.
