> 24 hourSimply genius! The packaging itself is a two room house you can use to set up the bedroom(s) or a bedroom and playroom - whatever you choose! This is a small set with just 16 pieces, but it comes with two beds that can be a made into bunk beds with a slide, if you want. A great way to teach the littlest how to put their own dolls to bed at night. Perhaps this will help for the transition from their crib to their big kid bed! Excellent for role playing! A great starter set or add on set. I like the specialty pieces, such as the beds and slide. Every single toddler loves these pieces. I use to use shoeboxes with my kids to build rooms. As always, Duplos are compatible with all Duplo sets. If you have more Duplos, you can pretend the slide is at the playground! As the kids get older, you can use Duplos for so many other things. You can color code towers, count them, write capital and lower case letters on them and have them match them, etc. So many uses for Duplos! They are a classic toy that never grows old!

> 24 hourThe Bedroom set has a really unique feature thats new this year, and thats the box that it comes in. Generally Duplo sets are nicely packaged, but this time theyve taken it a step further. The box containing the Duplo set has forgone the clear plastic so you can see what youre getting, in favor of making a really useful play piece from the container! The cardboard is thicker than for other Duplo boxes (I think about twice as thick), and its folded back on itself to make it fairly substantial. The outside of the box shows ways to use the pieces to create various scenes, and the inside of the box is soothing sky- blue wallpaper with happy clouds, a rainbow, and colorful stars. Oh, and its shaped like a house. Cute! The pieces are in a soothing pastel theme, with some pink pieces (including the outside of the house and the floor), but plenty of non-pink pieces. According to the back of the box, the figures are named Sophie and Clara, and theyre cute. Theres nice detailing on both figures. They also have a rather large white bear and a guitar. And, like any kid would love to have, a slide for getting down from the bunk bed! The pieces are a nice large size so theyre suitable for youngsters. This set is targeted at children age 2+. There is no instruction booklet, exactly. Theres an insert showing some ideas for play on one side, and other Duplo sets you might enjoy on the other side. There are more play ideas on the box. One thing to note is that for children 1.5 years up until 4 years, LEGO Duplo is the way to go, and for 4+, the fun continues with LEGO (where the Lego 4+ line takes over).

> 24 hourThese little Duplo kids have an awesome bedroom. Bunkbeds with a slid, and an adorable toy polar bear. (Or maybe it’s a friendly real one.) The kids can slide down the slide, and the bear can go down too if you turn it sideways. The set includes a white blanket and a thin patterned rug which are both made of real fabric. My kids really like the two interiors of the play box. The beds are not permanently connected, so they can be separated to make two bedrooms! I would recommend cutting the tape on the side, even though the illustrations show removing the tape and disposing of it. When we started to remove the tape, it tore the box.

> 24 hourIMPORTANT! Be careful opening the box—it separates into the 2 pieces that make the “house” for these little girls. Of course you can still play without using the box, but it has a cute cloud wallpaper inside and also serves to pack up everything when play is over for the day. Duplo is such a great building toy in general, and this type of set is perfect for gifting to a toddler at a family event: they can immediately start playing since there are not too many pieces to fiddle with, imagination creates the fun! There are in fact no “instructions” with this set at all, the back of the box shows a couple of ways to set things up but even that is just a suggestion.
