> 3 dayIt is nice to see some bath / pool toys from Lego. They were easy to build, and have lots of customizability (except for the large single pieces of course). The sub would float, and with some effort go underwater. The ruins will also float, so you might need to add some weight to keep them down. The rest of the set can go either way. The bubbles is overrated though. The fish and a few others have a tiny hole at the top that would make a short burst of air bubble when submerged. But they are still fun. Overall it was very entertaining to build and to play with.

> 3 dayWe bought this set as a bath toy because the submarine and whale float. The submarine is generously sized. This set comes with 2 figures in diving outfits and one baseplate. Overall a great set with unique pieces and figures.

> 3 dayFun underwater set of Legos. 2 year old and 4 year old loved the characters and can play with it on their own without help. Fun gift for toddlers

> 3 dayAs always with Duplo, it is great fun. Holds up well, though the pieces are a bit way to lose.

> 3 dayMy kids (2 & 4) love Lego Duplo toys. I love that the pieces are large and dont present a choking hazard. This set has 2 animals that make bubbles when submerged in water - due to a small air hole that allows the air to escape from the top. Several of the pieces also float. The submarine comes apart so you can place the divers inside. The divers have flippers and an underwater camera as accessories. This submarine set is a ton of fun and I enjoy playing alongside my kiddos at bath time. Definitely one of the best bath toys for toddlers that Ive seen. This set would make a great gift for any child aged 2 & up!

> 3 dayLego has not offered many submarines; I believe this is the only Duplo submarine they have every sold. As a very cute and rare Duplo vehicle, I give this high marks. In addition to the yellow and orange three-piece submarine, the two diver mini-figures are wonderfully done and also rare. My one quibble with the set is that the whale has a whole in the bottom, but the inside cant be accessed for cleaning. In my long experience with kids bath toys, this will be a likely place for mold growth. Yuck. The design of the submarine hearkens to both the Beetles Yellow Submarine and, perhaps, Disneys submarines (when they in their yellow livery). The divers have a Team Zissou feel (from Life Aquatic) sporting light blue wet suits with yellow arms. It is also an obvious homage to Cousteau, especially with the underwater camera accessory. The set is well priced for Duplo and especially so considering how much fun a submarine can be. It should be very easy to get lost in an imaginary world with this. I think that if I were a child, my main disappointment would be that there is no hatch. As a parent looking for great bath toys, I would be torn between this and the many great Playmobil water toys. Though Im a diehard Lego fan, I can attest to the durability and clean-ability of Playmobil bath toys.

> 3 dayThis is a great one for that reluctant bather - first you sit together and BUILD a submarine, then you go to the tub to use it! Its an adventure in imagination. But you might have trouble getting your child OUT of the tub... Price as reviewed seems typical for such toys.
