My son is obsessed with trains and train tracks. We bought him the Lego Duplo Steam Train with this extension set after his Christmas motorized train broke. Duplo definitely is always a win for toddlers. It has more durable plastic. My younger seven month old infant has been rolling over these train tracks while my two year old is playing on the floor and these Duplo dont break. Money well spent.

Great addition to the train set. Allows for more variety with track set-ups. My five year old has no trouble assembling it

My kids love to combine this set with other Duplos and build new train tracks. Very durable and a quality toy.

I feel like the train drains batteries so quickly, but Ill just start using rechargeable ones. Other than that my little one definitely enjoys it but does get bored after a while since all he can do is watch the train go round and round.

Bought all 3 of the recommended track sets to make a train set for my daughter this Christmas. She already had a train. So I built a lego table with duplo bases to attach the track to... to my surprise... the rail won’t even connect to the base plates!

This is a great accessory for the DUPLO train set. It expands the play and adds to the fun!

I love this toy and purchased it for our son who loves trains and has ASD, but it’s battery powered which drives my husband crazy. I didn’t think anything of it, but our son leaves it on and the batteries only last a couple days. The tracks don’t stay together great, but works well enough. I wish LEGO would make rechargeable batteries for this, because now we never use it. But the concept and pieces to control the train are very fun and our son loves it.
