This is a great Lego kit. Our 12 year old daughter enjoyed every minute of constructing each bird and now has them on display in her room. They make a charming decoration when completed. There is a separate book about each bird included in the kit. We expanded on that and bought her this Lego kit, the National Geographic Backyard Birds book and some binoculars for her own bird watching. She loved them all.

My daughter asked for this set for her birthday, and we were all excited to see them built. They did not disappoint! They are beautiful...in fact, they are the only Legos allowed to stay in the living room on the bookshelf! This is a great set! My daughter is 9 and built all three easily without help.

This is the most awesome Lego set EVER! Not only is each bird really cool but each one comes with its own book that tells all about each bird species. I hope Lego makes more of these down the road. I have them on display and they look like art instead of toys. We love Lego in this house but I will say this is my favorite set we have put together. I would say this is probably more geared to an adult builder but it was not difficult to put together at all.

My 10 year old son loves birds and legos so this was the perfect combination of both. He was very excited to get this for his birthday and displays them proudly in his room. I hope Lego develops more set like this.
