> 3 dayI got this set and LOVED it! This set is very cheap for how many pieces it has and it is fun to build! It took me a couple hours a day for three days to build it. This will work well as a gift for ages 12+. I am twelve and I was able to construct it with no problems. The rocket separates into stages very well, but it takes some practice. The set stands one meter tall which is very impressive, and makes it my best lego set yet! This set comes with three micro figures plus one spare. The lunar lander goes in the top of the rocket, and you can easily pop off the cover and replace it with the capsule that splashes down onto Earth. Again, I would recommend this set for a excellent gift!

Greater than one weekI have been into legos since I was a little kid and I came across this set and saw it as a must have. The detail and size is incredible I have nothing bad to say besides you must pay attention to the instructions or you will find yourself frustrated.

Greater than one weekIt was a give for my 14 tear old son who building the Apolo Rocket along with his older brother. They spent most of the afternoon into the evening putting the 1000+ rocket together. They had the best time and were so proud of the finished rocket. Its going to be one of our new Christmas traditions to build a lego model.

> 3 dayMy 20 year old son gave this to me for Mothers Day. It is a terrific, fun and enjoyable Lego set that he and I are building together. I love space Legos and this has the history in the instruction book as well. The Saturn V Lego set is very well constructed, very realistic and easy to build. Its nice to have a bigger project to work on together with my son! Highly recommend the awesome NASA Saturn V Lego set!!!!

> 3 dayTheres a lot of good reviews on quality and features so I wont get into that. I will say this thing is huge and heavy in the box so I can only imagine the quality and complexity of it without having opened the box. Im mainly reviewing the price. Ive been coveting this since 2017 but the price was just a bit too much for me ($109). Ive been monitoring the price in my save for later list and the price hasnt changed all year. Ive been patient though especially since Im buying it to build with my son when hes closer to 10 years old or so (hes only 3 years old now lol!). Finally Black Friday 2018 rolled around and the price dropped to $99 and I nearly pulled the trigger but got distracted that day, when I came back to my computer it had dropped to $78 (an all time low)! I couldnt believe and I bought it immediately. I think of it was a future investment, itll be a great bonding activity to do in the future. And even if my son doesnt get into legos (unlikely because he really likes duplo legos now) and/or if they ever discontinue this and I become broke, it could be easily resold and probably appreciate in price.

Greater than one weekFor the first time in many decades I bought a Lego Set. Important disclaimer: Lego sees it quite differently, but since this is my review and I am just a consumer, I can pull this off: In this review I will use „Lego“ as a generic term for all building brick brands. However, LEGO will refer to the Danish Lego company Unboxing: A Box with a box containing the Set-Box. And still slight damage to the Set-Box. Two seals are keeping the Set closed. And then? What is this? What happens to the high quality cardboard inserts inside the box? The bags are just falling out? Booo! The Manual: At one point, the manual comes out along with the brick-bags. It is inside a bag, too and I am not brave enough to open it. It just looks to well. It looks so nice, touching it might ruin it. The manual is not spiral bound but a real paperback, 8 by 10 inches with almost 200 pages. And thanks god, there is a PDF available! Good Job LEGO! BIG like! The manual starts with some pages telling a little bit about the Apollo project, the Saturn V, the journey and the set designers with some really nice pictures. And then the same pages repeat in French. And in Spanish. I think that is wasting some space, that could have been used to show even more cool pictures. Anyway, after that introduction the only thing to be read will be Arabic. Arabic Numbers of course, otherwise it would be quite hard to read, I guess. Building: Easy-peasy. Really. One bag out of twelve at a time. The very small pieces will be in another bag, inside that bag. So I pull up the manual and start building. There is a piece separator in the very first bag. For that oops moment you will eventually run into. Well, generations of Lego builders survived without it, but it is there in case you are concerned about your fingernails. Each bag is having some stages. Each stage is represented in a single chapter and every chapter consists of steps. Sometimes really underwhelming complex steps. I mean, you have pre-sorted pieces. And really, taking two of them and just put them side-by-side as a step? Underwhelming. I think the most complicated step involves eight bricks, to be combined into 4 components of 2 bricks and to be mounted symmetrically on a plate. Caveat: it seems the manual is not straight forward. Sometimes you build the same component multiple times. However, the manual either says how many pieces you need in total, or per single component. That is getting a little bit confusing, especially at the end where you combine components to larger components that you need more than once. Sticker: Oh, what a pest. Stickers, Stickers, Stickers. A good reason to avoid any Lego Set. Not here! There are ZERO stickers in this set. Each and every graphic is a print! Seriously. VERY well done, LEGO. Please make that a practice for every set - it makes a difference! Conclusion: Bombastic! Heavy! Robust! One Meter (~1.093613298 Yards) Rocket. ~120 US-$? Yes, a little bit pricey but the price-value ration is a lot better than with some other sets from LEGO. Basically a no brainier if you are in Lego. A steal for the LEGO price level. The building technique is interesting and some patterns are repetitive. Naturally as you have a long cylinder to build. But it is cool and interesting at many other steps, never got bored.
