One of my favorite Lego builds. It looks good displayed and was fun to put together - a good combo for Legos. My only gripe would be the seams on the bottle, it would look so much better if there werent seams going across the ship. Maybe make the clear pieces a little bigger? Definitely not a deal breaker.

I gave this LEGO set to my grandson for a Christmas gift. He is 10 and lives legos. Well this one was very disappointing. He put it together in a few hours. But it won’t stay together. Keep falling apart. The pieces just don’t fit right together. I paid 60 bucks for this set. Very very disappointed.

Bought as a birthday gift for a Lego lover and he absolutely loves it!

I would easily give this 5 stars except the ship was missing one of the beams that attaches the sails to the mast. Fortunately, we had a similar piece from another set that we substituted, it’s just a different shade of brown. On to the positive: my teen & I had a lot fun putting this together! The instructions were very clear, even though the design is pretty intricate. (It took us about 3 hours, so I would not recommend this for small children, unless you plan to help them). I really like the design, the globes & compass on the base look very cool! The only slight negative with the design is that the front of the bottle tends to come apart, and we’ve had a few shipwrecks because of that. If you want to keep it together all the time, you might want to glue the front 1/2 of the bottle. Overall, I would recommend this to any Lego lover out there. I believe the missing piece was a fluke, as we have many Lego kits, and missing pieces are a rare problem.

Bought this for a gift for my better half. He built it as soon as he got it and had a great time. My children are also LEGO fans and were bummed Id only bought one. Great gift for the LEGO person in your life - or for you if you are that person.

My son wanted a Lego for his 15th birthday. His 13 year-old brother had his eye on this one. It was challenging enough to hear a few grunts hahaha Definitely one for the display shelf!

It was a cool set. Wish it has a treasure chest.

Continue a nautical tradition when you build the LEGO Ideas 92177 Ship in a Bottle, featuring a highly detailed ship with the captain’s quarters, cannons, masts, crow’s nest and printed sail elements. Place the ship inside the LEGO brick-built bottle with a buildable cork, wax seal element and water-style elements inside, then display the model on the stand featuring the ship’s ‘Leviathan’ nameplate, built-in ‘compass’ (non-functioning) with compass rose and spinning needle, and globe elements. This construction toy also includes a booklet about the fan creator and LEGO designers of this wonderfully nostalgic set.
