For me it was too complicated, but my grandson thought it was sent directly from heaven.

Great gift for my 11 year old son. It provided him with a couple of hours of great fun.

This dragon is probably the coolest LEGO our daughter has, and she has a lot!!

My daughter loved this but a piece was missing so I had to contact LEGO. They replaced the piece within days but my daughter was put on hold until this piece came.

My nephew put this together in about three hours. Instructions were clear. Individual pieces were well labeled in separate packaging. The only minor gripe is that the back legs are not articulated. But all of the separate dragon heads are and the wings can flap.

My kids have recently really started getting into Lego and while they love to tinker about and make their own creations, they and I both love when they get a new kit and make a designed creation. First, they are exercising some visual spatial skills in looking back and forth between the instructions and the actual design they are forming in front of them and checking for accuracy. Finding the correct pieces among the array is also a good skill (ask any mom whose kids cant ever find their library book or their baseball glove). The instructions are illustrated, not written, so it will appeal to a wide segment of kids irrespective of reading ability. And they are very easy to follow. My 6 year old has taken to it quite quickly (Ill admit that my now 12 year old was older before she could do them, so you have to know your own child). The completed pieces are usually displayed in our house for a week before they are dissembled and added to the bin for other creative engineering builds. Be aware of particularly small pieces in this set. The quality of Lego is fantastic, as expected, and the attention to detail they put into these jets are marvelous. Best of all, Lego retain good value down the road, so even when the kids have grown out of them, you can easily rehome these toys.

Interesting set but left a lot to be desired... especially for the purchase price. Nice splurge for a gift for a Ninjago fan in your life but not loving for a personal purchase.

The workmanship is very good. There is no smell. The quality is very good. The handle is really different. It is smooth and beautiful in color. The villain is more delicate and beautiful. Good color, smooth surface and standard size
