This set is really neat and all the same quality as normal Lego. While its not advertised on the box, the instructions have a QR code that you can scan in the Lego Building Instructions app (available free on apple, android, Kindle). Then you can use the play together feature of the app which adds a whole new level of awesome to the building and play experience! Also, if - our should I say WHEN if your kids are like mine - you lose the instructions, the pdf version of instructions are also free in the app. This is such a game changer for us!! Apparently, its been around for a year and I had no clue so I wanted to share it here, in case you also didnt know. The physical package of this is huge - like as long as my 8 year olds arm. Any kid will LOVE opening this just for its sheer size! It did ship in a plain brown box but the label on the box clearly says Lego. So beware if youre planning for this to be a gift and the recipient could potentially get it off the porch before you. Heres a tip to prevent that - always ask for a gift receipt, even if its not needed, because then it has to ship in a normal Amazon box so it can hold the product and the receipt slip.

This arrived after Christmas...as expected. My grandson opened the box today 12-31-22. Much to his dismay he found: Missing pieces: One bag, stickers, and all the figures. One other bag was mislabled. A total mess and will be returned.

One a scale of one to ten on difficulty this is about a six in difficulty. It is pretty okay to put together. I would say the stairs are a bit of the annoying part as there are so many small pieces to make the stairway. It is very difficult to keep the crystals from getting knocked off as well. A simple hit on the crystal will cause it to get dislodged from the clip. There are quite a few pieces and my nephew was able to basically assemble this in about four hours on his own. The building itself is quite large to be honest and there are actually a ton of small pieces to make it up which make it a bit fragile compared to many other of the lego parts. The design is actually really niced but all the small pieces on the side are a bit easy to break off. Regardless, it looks really nice. There are not real moving parts which is great. The crystal part is really nice looking and creative. There are also six lego figures included which is pretty awesome. It is two bad guy and four ninja character. You can fit the main villain on top of the building. I think the villain figures look the best. It looks like an oni villain and is the most detailed compared to many other devices. They all come with weapons and one of figures has four arms. I do not follow ninjago so I do not even know the characters by name or if they even have any names. Honestly the details on this set is really nice. It does not have too many stickers compared to many other ninjago legos. The building does not have any moving parts. It is fairly sturdy for the most part but dropping it will certainly break it. Overall I think this lego set is a more worth wild investment. It is more of a challenge to assemble compared to many other ninjago lego set while also giving you better figures as a result. The building itself can be a bit flimsy and easy to break apart if you are not careful. It has a nice purple and dark color and the ninja figures are great to add to the collection. I also like how the figures all have a unique look to them as well as having one figure with multiple arms.

The Crystal King Temple was a fun build for my grandson. It has some unique pieces including transparent fuchsia crystals. The set is basically two larger pieces. Those do not connect but sit independently. The way that the temple is set up it is interactive and game like. There are different scenarios and jams that the mini figures can get into. Like most Lego sets these days, it contains more mini figures for play. The mini figures are interesting looking and coordinate well. There is even a small Dragon which I am convinced is adorable. Overall this is a neat set that really could cover multiple ages because of its Ninjago play features and build. The instructions were well done and the pieces fit flawlessly.

My son has been really into Lego since visiting Lego Land, so this was great. Its colorful and my son has been in love with the Ninjago series, so this was perfect. Just like you would expect from Lego, the quality was great and I loved that the building pamphlet was online through a QR code as I tend to lose those. The set looked challenging, but was actually great for beginners and my son and I had a blast building it together. I think I actually had more fun than they did.

This lego ninjago set is huge! It will give your kiddo hours of build time fun and hours of play time fun! The Lego ninjago sets are always such a hit with the kids because they know there is a ton of playability to them. Definitely scan the QR code for extra play! Lots of mini figures and bits and pieces for pretend play. This set in particular is an awesome stand alone set for play purposes. Though if you have other ninjago sets they pair perfectly as well of course! This set was easy to assemble for my eleven year old, but did take several hours spread out over several days. She gets as much enjoyment out of building as she does with playing so this was a solid week of awesome for her! (Everything IS awesome!). ;p Very very giftable for the lego ninjago kid aficionado! I would absolutely buy this again as a gift and would recommend it to others!

Its not a creator style set, but one that is exactly positioned for the age range. And its complete...all the ninja are here. The set itself has some nifty features and does feature some interesting building techniques. Having Cole hanging upside down inside a crystal seems a little harsh to me, but such is the way of the Ninjago. However, it is not an extremely intricate set and does offer some room for improvisation. As with most LEGO, this is a well thought out set and offers a lot of flexibility. A fantastic addition to the Ninjago theme.

Another great LEGO set. My 8 year old son who has never seen a single episode of Ninjago TV series, absolutely loves it. It took him about 5 hours to build (with lots of long breaks in between). When I asked him which set was his favorite: this one or the one he build before it (3 in 1 Creator Pirate ship, 31109), his reply was definitely this one. He has done much bigger LEGO sets in the past but this one was by far the most intricate. Not only this set looks cool once built, but it is also fun to play with, trapping characters in several traps and moving staircases - the pink floating prison is my favorite. This set comes with 6 cool mini figures and a cute dragon. We definitely recommend this set to any LEGO fan.

Like all of the Lego kits, this one did not disappoint. My son loved the kit and details, and I loved how Lego’s teach him the discipline of patience while he builds it, problem solving, and imagination. I’ll admit that I don’t know the Ninjago story line or characters, but my son loves it. The small details in the temple are impressive, and the characters are all pretty cool. I would recommend this for any young kid, particularly if they already know the Ninjago series!.

It was a Christmas gift for my 11 yo son. He lives it! It took 2 days, little by little, to build it. He didnt have any problem with it and did everything by himself. The set consists of 6 bags. Its not a huge one, but definitely cool one.
