The big improvements of this set is the cost and the the removal of the previous rubber band system. I do like this set but it feels flimsy compared to the other X-wings and the Astromec slot is also too high. All around Id say its an okay set.

Had a great time building this with my 6 year old. He did most of the assembly over 2 days with just a little assistance.

Noice gift

The set was packaged in a bag with no bubble wrap and from the looks of it was obviously thrown around quite a bit otherwise ok.

This kit was so much fun to build! The engineering and creative use of bricks and bits was very satisfying and the final product has great play value. Six stars for this one.

Son loves it

Built this with my nine-year-old, and we had a blast. My only gripe is that I wish Lego did a little bit more to capture that beat up Star Wars aesthetic.

Wonderful gift, lots of enjoyment for years to come.
