Awesome model of the slave 2. But missing pieces and not very sturdy.

Box was not as shown. The package was a generic brown box. I will probably return it.

If you love Boba fett and his ship the Slave 1 Than this is a good set, BUT this is a VERY STRESSFUL build! My parents got very very stressed out making it. But when compete it is A awesome build! I have so much fun! nice figs too. But if you HATE stressful builds than i dont youll enjoy to much, But star wars fans like me WILL ( or should ) Love this set! I honestly think the price is just a is a little pricey. If you have a star wars fan in the family then this is a very good set. ( especially if you have a boba fett/ slave 1 fan like me)!

I own at least six of these ships, ranging from the original to Jangos blue one, and Id argue that this is without a doubt the best and most play-worthy model yet. I cant truly imagine them out-doing this one, either for price or build quality - Its sturdy, the launchers are well hidden and the model aspect for adult collectors is spot on. The build itself ranges wildly between amusingly weird and mildly annoying, but thats because half the bricks are the used in the red base and secret handle parts. Theyve officially given up on adding a rear hatch ramp like in the movies. Han in carbonite goes into a compartment underneath the actual entrance to the ship, but this is a technicality that Im personally glad theyve chosen to ignore - fitting a 4 stud wide entry ramp into the back of the ship has been a bit of a nightmare on any non-Ultimate Collectors set. Also missing are the missile launcher compartments, for the better I say. This is exactly what you want for a shelf model, or just to give to your kids. Finally, they dont have to hold the thing funny to play with it because theres a handle hidden in the back. Not a verified buyer on Amazon because I used the Lego site for this one to show my support.

The Lego Set 75243 is a rather solid build that truly shows how far Lego has come in set design. At the purchase price of $119.99 (roughly $0.12 a piece) the set features Slave 1 (the infamous bounty Hunters starship) on top of Boba Fett, Han Solo, Zuckuss, and 4-LOM minifigures on top of the 20th Anniversary Leia and Han Solo in Carbonite. The ship itself is fun to play with, featuring an opening cockpit and a handle towards the rear of the ship to facilitate play, but frnakly I was a bit disappointed that the ramp depicted on the box is nothing more than a cap in the rear of the ship though. On top of that, the cockpit is the definition of simplistic, consisting of a seat and a tiny control panel. The set has twice the piece count of the most recent (non UCS) Ship, making it feel quite solid.... but I have to say that other than the different figures and bonus Leia this set doesnt really bring anything new to the table, considering there have been 5 other versions of this ship. Unless you are interested in the new minifigures or are a collector Id just recommend buying one of the older ships (particularly set numbers 6209 and 8097) on eBay for around half of the price...
