LEGO Star Wars: The Mandalorian Imperial Light Cruiser 75315 Awesome Toy Building Kit for Kids, Featuring 5 Minifigures; New 2021 (1,336 Pieces)

We gave this to my 38-year-old son as a Christmas present - He loved it, said that we won Christmas. He had it together within a week and a half and sent us a video demonstrating the finished cruiser. Since I never saw the opened box or the finished product in person, I cant comment further. All I can say is that it was a big hit with a Star Wars Lego enthusiast.

This thing was exactly what I wanted, an awesome star wars ship that I can put lights in and display on my desk. Know that if playing is your thing the interior is small. Came in perfect condition

Way too hard

Got half way through the build and was missing 2 pieces. Luckily, we are avid Lego fans and have a tote full of miscellaneous pieces. We were able to find them. Still working on it...well see how many more are missing. Signed, Frustrated!!!

I want to like this set, but it falls short in so many areas. Its very expensive for getting basically half of a ship. A beautiful half of a ship, to be sure, but thats it. I understand that there were space constraints but you cant even close the top without knocking most, if not all, of the figures over. The minifigure selection is okay, but they shouldve included a hairpiece for Fennec Shand and the inclusion of only one dark trooper is a touch sad. Considering how expensive this set is, they definitely couldve included a second dark trooper. Lastly, the TIE launcher in the front of the ship was a nice but worthless afterthought. It launches the miniature TIEs maybe an inch from the prongs if it even clears them. This ship definitely cannot compete with its older lego counterparts, such as the First Order and Imperial Star Destroyer sets. EDIT: I added photos of the older Imperial and First Order star destroyers to show a better comparison to them.

My 11-year-old has been working on this and every time he would move it to add another piece the whole thing would fall apart. Im not sure if its just ill-fitting pieces or whats happening, but hes pretty heartbroken about it because he was so excited!
