Game got here absolutely fine, the game itself isn’t worth the money, completely different to what I was expecting and completely different from the original games

Two years we have waited for this game to be released. Two FRIGGIN years. Its finally released, we are playing through, in the middle of Episode II after completing Episode I, and the game shuts down out of nowhere and COMPLETELY ERASES ITSELF. WE NOW HAVE TO START ALL OVER AGAIN. Not at all what we have come to expect from these types of games, so unbelievably disappointed with this game. After all the hype and waiting, definitely a let down.

Got this for my son for his 5th birthday. He’s played previous Lego games before on the ps2, ps3, and ps4 such as Batman, Jurassic Park, Marvel superheroes, Indiana Jones, and older versions of Star Wars. This one seems to be more advanced than previous games and he quickly lost interest in the story. There’s also quite a bit of lag during saving abs moving on to the next story line. I didn’t feel it was worth the $50 price tag.

This combines two of my favorite things from my childhood, Lego and Star Wars. So how could it go wrong?

Where to start with my disappointment. I loved playing the PS2 Lego Star Wars game. The functions worked great for the controllers and there wasnt a lot of instruction needed to play it. This version, while encompassing all of the episodes, is confusing with a lot of text on the screen at times. Nothing is intuitive and the hints are all in small text, even on a large screen TV. The colors are washed out if youre not using a 4K TV. All of the voices arent the original voices of the actors in the movies or previous game versions. The startup screens are annoying, take a while to load and cant be bypassed. The game seems to be setup so the player goes through destroying everything they can find to gain as many studs as possible but no on screen way of knowing your progress towards True Jedi.

I gave this a 3 cause I love the Lego games, but the camera views make playing this aggravating. The view will constantly change no matter how you try to set the camera settings. Try to focus on a target and suddenly the view bounces all over the place - and this appears to happen no matter how you set it. I also find the guide/print to be not much help. It’s too small making it hard to read unless you’re really close - and this is on a 50” TV ( and my eyesight is fine). I also miss the Lego humor. Neat idea in being able to play some episodes out of order, but in my opinion the view and guide distracts from the fun.

Big game missions are not to long. Boss fights are fun and learning all the new details in the game is different form the other Lego games. If u are fan of the lego games this on is sure to please. Yes there are levels of the game that look familiar but are still fun to play. You can explore alot more in this game.
