Connected with my electric cord! Fixed our problem. The other really had gone bad.

I have 3 different connection types for my 50 amp service (50a, 30a and this 15a) all dogbone 90 degree angle type. This one does not hang straight down. It is suppose to go in at a slight angle then once in turn and hang down vertically. This goes in straight up and down then will hang with a left angle. Not what a dog bone is designed to do. My other two hang correctly. This is made incorrectly from the factory mold. When I compare it to my other two they have a slightly off center groove at the top, this one has the center groove in the 12 oclock position. Hence going in vertically and then turning and hanging incorrectly. I returned it!

A couple of things: 1: The one I received lines up perfectly with the inlet installed in my RV. Some folks commented about it not being the correct orientation when installed but didnt mention if it was this plug or their inlet that was off. 2: The hot part of the 120v plug is wired to both L1 and L2 of the 50A plug. So, everything on your RV will be hot which means its up to you not to overload the adapter. I assume the adapter wiring is beefy enough (12AWG wire) to handle 20A but hard to say without tearing it apart.

Speedy shipping. Really good quality build. I like it because with the 110VAC plug pointing downward, it takes the strain off of the RV connection and the extension cord connection.

This plug is very easy to plug-in and very easy to use I like it I don’t have to pull my big heavy cord out lol

Useless for us!

Needed a power (110v) hook up for camper. Thought a 90 degree adapter would be the best option for me. This works for now but in my case it hits the rear bumper so I am bending it to clear bumper.. Will continue to work on this issue and see if there are other options available that wont stress the connection if its not a 90 degree hookup.
