My RV has a detachable power cord. When I bought it I asked for an adapter so I could use a standard 15amp cord to charge, etc. They gave me an adapter to go from the 30amp RV plug on the end of the RV cord to the 15amp outlet, meaning I would need to use the bulky 25 RV cord all the time. This adapter is what I wanted. This lets me plug the adapter directly into the port on the RV and allows me to use a standard 15amp (12 gauge) extension cord to plug it in. As a bonus, the little light on the adapter tells me the line is powered on.

Nice item, well constructed.

Takes care of when we have to plug our 30amp travel trailer into 20 amp household plug. Beats having to use a dog bone so we can moochdock and plug in.

Worked well during our month in Texas

I connected this to a 10 gauge extension cord and to my travel trailer and it worked like a charm. It powered my whole camper without any issues.
