Update: Ive been using this almost everyday for school now for about 5-6 months, and the backpack straps are starting to rip at the top. I dont stuff it full, and its never been very heavy. The heaviest things Ive had in it on a daily basis are a laptop and my 32oz. water bottle, with a couple times where I had to put a couple books in it. But even then, it shouldnt rip because I only carry it the 10 feet from my house to my car, and then for a few minutes from my car to my classroom (2 minute walk, max...), and then the reverse of that when I go home (when its even lighter because my water bottle is empty at that point). Other than that, its sitting on the floor by me desk at school or by my desk at home. Other than the ripping, I have really enjoyed this bag and have gotten a lot of compliments on it! But I cant be replacing my bag every few months, so Im probably going to go back to using a backpack. --Original Review below-- I’m a teacher and wanted to replace my old bag that’s starting to look pretty beat up, and I don’t like using my backpack from college since I look young as it is and try not to blend too much with the students. It holds a lot! I haven’t been able to use it a ton yet, but I did test out how much I could put in, and I should still be able to carry everything that was in my backpack. The only thing I don’t like is that none of the pockets for water bottles will fit my 32 oz. nalgene, so that’s a bummer. I can still carry it in the bag though, so not a deal breaker.

To be transparent, I have not actually put this into use yet. I’m a teacher and don’t start back to school for a couple more weeks. I bought this to be my new teacher bag this year because I can no longer do big, heavy shoulder bags. I’ve tested out the capacity by filling it with some of the things that I expect to carry back and forth between home, school, and PD sessions regularly. It seems suitable for my needs. I was really hoping for an insulated pouch (like what comes in the Teacher Tote, if you are familiar with that shoulder bag), but I couldn’t find it it anything that was a backpack. So I also bought a little insulated pouch that can either fit into this backpack or attach on the outside, assuming the inside is too full. Together, I think these will completely fit my needs most days. I’ve included some photos of how I expect to use this, in case any other teachers find it helpful. The photos include my Plum Planner, a 22oz water bottle, a large 500+ page book, my 13 in. laptop computer, a mostly empty folder, and a small notebook, as well as the insulated pouch. I have a few pens, pencils, and sticky notes in the front pocket, and my teacher badge and keys are hidden in one of the side pockets. I think I could probably also throw in my wallet and some other small items, probably a canned drink or another water bottle, if I wanted to. I’m hoping this will hold up with daily use once the school year begins. It’s really cute while still looking professional and being practical.

I purchased this less than two months ago and it is already ripping at the strap. this is only my second work trip with this bag. I have only been carrying my laptop, a reading book, and a thin notebook. I’m so disappointed because the backpack itself is super cute. UPDATED- seller sent replacement quickly. the new one hasnt ripped yet and it has been 6 months with multiple work trips. the first one I got must have just had a manufacturing error. Good company to handle things like this. I get lots of compliments on the backpack when I travel.

I was so excited about this bag, it was ridiculous. I use it daily to go between home and work. I received several compliments on it from coworkers. Overall, it was a great bag until the strap ripped after just over 6 months of use. The only other (minor) complaint I had was the front pocket was creased upon arrival. I didnt put much effort into trying to remove the crease and it didnt impact usability, was just a small cosmetic flaw. This bag worked perfectly for comfortably transporting my 15.6 inch laptop, charger, headset, pens/pencils, a few small notebooks, mousepad, my large wallet, and a few other small misc items. The framed opening makes it really easy to get the laptop in and out. However, you basically have to unzip the entire thing in order to get anything out of the large pocket. This isnt a problem when going to/from work, but I would not use this bag as a carry on as Id want quicker and easier access to the contents of my bag. As much as I enjoyed using the bag, I am disappointed at what I consider to be a short lifespan. Id expect a year minimum, if not more. I didnt carry anything particularly heavy, nor did I wear it for long distances, just to/from the parking ramp to my desk.

I teach college and am always looking for the perfect bag that is easy to huck around campus and will stand up on its own to get things in and out of. This really fits the bill. It opens on the top and with a light but rigid frame around the zipper so it stays open but is still standing upright. It has pockets all the way around the inside (one padded for a laptop). I use the pockets for a calculator and whiteboard markers and still have enough from for an average notebook and textbook. I also like the small handles on top to grab it and go.

Amazing capacity. I carry my laptop, my switch and the cables for each along with a power bank, a water bottle and a couple books and still have room to spare! This bag is also very comfy to wear and has helped me cut down from 4 bags to 1.

The product came quickly and in perfect condition. I got it in grey. I will be using it for work (I am a teacher), and it fits everything in it. It fits my 13 in. MacBook, teacher edition books, a notebook and a planner, with a little extra space. It sits nicely on my back without adding too much pressure or sitting on my spine. It fits a water bottle and has to pockets on the side. The pocket in the front is roomy, and there is a pocket on the back that zips for anything extra. Im really excited to use this backpack.

I’ve had this bag for about a week now and I actually really like it. It’s lightweight and fits everything I need to go to work— laptop, wallet, glasses cases, lunch etc. On my back it feels like barely any weight, whereas when I was lugging my laptop in a side purse it felt heavy. At first I didn’t like that it is a bit boxy looking, but actually, the bag does a great job standing on its own if you set it down, probably because of the rigid shape. I also like the top handles I can grab it like a purse to quickly pick it up. For the price, I don’t know how long it will hold up, but happy for now. Maybe by the time this one is worn out they’ll have some more appealing colors to chose from.

Its a good looking bag made of durable material. I like the double grab handles at the top. Its very water resistant as well. However, the storage capacity is not great. Because the bag has a fixed structure and because of the sloping too closure, theres not actually that much room inside. Also, if you put anything in the outside pockets, like a water bottle, you lose all the space in the inner pockets and the other way around. I gave and extra star to the product because the company was really great when I identified these design flaws.
