> 3 dayI hesitated putting 5 stars for installation only because this type of filter is not for the novice. If you follow the directions and work slowly you should be able to do this. Fits right into the plastic frame that the loser before me left on the floor next to the air handler after he installed the wrong filter. Nothing special about the new filter warrants fireworks or anything. It fit and filters the air so Im happy

Greater than one weekBoth times Ive bought this filter, the box was crushed and ripped. Wish theyd use a better box for this then one thats as this as a thick piece of paper.

> 3 dayThe product itself is fine but the original box that it comes in is very flimsy and is broken and torn open.. It needs to be re-packaged in a secure hard cardboard box so it will not get damaged or wet. This is the second time that this has happened to me.

Greater than one weekIt is a 50/50 chance of getting ruined in shipment! Mine had a crushed torn end. Attempting to repair it and use it... +++ A little tricky moving the separator fingers while installing; but, one gets better over time. The trick is to try to evenly space all the folds and then enter the separator fingers at one end and see where the doubles are. Then work from one side raising just one side enough to push just enough each time to fix the next double. I have been doing it for years now... I still get 1 or 2 dings (small tears). I dont worry about the tiny holes. You might use some tape on the input air flow side if needed?
