I would have liked more RAM and a higher capacity SSD since its target audience is power users and gamers, but the rest of it is quite excellent. It has a speedy processor, great screen, awesome nVidia graphics card, and the keyboard is excellent quality. This is my first Lenovo and Im actually pretty impressed with it. So far, it has handled everything Ive thrown at it with ease. Not sure how I feel about Windows 11 yet, but I wont hold that against this laptop. I would not hesitate to recommend it.

This Lenovo Ideapad 3i Gaming laptop is marketed as a gaming laptop, however, my use of it is more mainstream, browsing and work-related, although in the future I may use it in a home music distribution role. In its factory configuration, its horsepower, graphics, and storage are more than adequate for my use. Like another reviewer, I will probably increase RAM and storage, but for now, it works for me.

My 12 year old had been begging for a laptop that could handle games better. Mainly Minecraft with about 100 installed mods. He also makes vids and a news report for the family. This laptop is more than enough for all that. Its ram can be increased if needed. Its hard drive can be increased if needed. These are cheap upgrades that can be done at any time down the line. Mainly, I wanted to be sure it had a decent processor and graphics card. Those are the hardest to upgrade in a laptop. I wasnt going to spend $1000 on a laptop for a 12 year old, so I wasnt seriously looking. Then I saw this over the summer, with an amazon pay plan and thought, have it paid by Christmas. Done. The look on his face was worth it. Actual 2 minutes of silence. It runs great and hes got it integrated with the house. I did put in parental controls because there is too much undirected trouble available out there and because I dont want him to live in his computer, and hes a 12-year-old boy. As far as performance goes, I have a higher end laptop with an i7 and GeForce video card. This one performs just as well for the kind of things he does. A lot of people buy the Corvette and never drive faster than 90 mph. This isnt the Corvette, but it will do the 90 easily.

Battery gets empty very fast. Zoom conference finished battery in one hour.

It’s a decent laptop but it has its flaws. Tends to randomly freeze while playing. Most of the time my game would freeze and I can’t even minimize the game so the only way to get out is to restart the laptop. I mainly play warzone on modern warfare and I get avg 76fps on med settings. I also play gta v on max settings with an avg of 85fps. Other than that I would recommend building your own pc. You can build a stronger pc for the price of this laptop.

This computer is kinda good you really can’t play no games it don’t run good. If your recording the computer runs so slow DONT BUY my computer dont turn on and I only had it for 2 months it’s like it’s infected or something I need a refund but I think it’s to late

this is a quality lightweight laptop. my daily gamer has zero complaints. graphics are clean. speed is great. no lag while gaming.

I dont play games, but I do tech work for immersive art exhibits. Payroll, scheduling, excel spreadsheets, etc. It keeps up with me and that is impressive enough. Great refresh rate and connects to wifi 6. I spent many hours researching different laptops save your time and just order this one! Ohhhh I love the back-lit keyboard! Its a must!!
