I ordered this for my daughter who was coming to work for us and would be carrying her laptop to and from work each day and plugging in to a docking station. This computer strains my wrist to even lift it with one hand and my daughter is petite with small shoulders and dainty wrists. There was NO WAY I was going to let her carry this in a bag every day. She would have had major issues using it day to day. I kept it for my husband to use but honestly, its such a hassle getting in and out of a bag and setting up due to the weight, he hardly ever uses it either. If youre going to leave it set up on a desk, Im sure its great, but as a portable laptop, which thats what its supposed to be, its RIDICULOUSLY heavy.

Purchased a $1200 laptop with an upgraded SSD and after only 5 months, the SSD goes bad and its not covered under manufacture warranty because seller put in a 3rd party SSD. Seller will not respond to my requests and proof of the bad SSD. Do not buy from this seller.

im upgrading to a modern laptop, as I have just used my phone for any web browsing. I knew if i was going to spend any money on a computer, I would spend a little more than i wanted to make sure I got the best performance and aesthetics for the money. This computer is perfect for what I wanted. Ive never owned a gaming PC before, so i dont have high expectations, I just wanted it to be on par with what my playstation can do. This computer can run Forza Horizon 4 at 128- 160 FPS, and Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2019 at 70- 100+FPS. Cant ask for much more in a cheaper gaming laptop. Im perfectly happy. build quality is pretty good too.

Everything about it is great, except it does not have an enter key for the number pad. Either go all the way or don’t go at all. Oh yea, and it doesnt have an SD slot.

They sent me Y545 pro instead of Y540, while with all correct hardware set up. That is really weird! And I dont think this laptop is a brand new one. It is more possible that the laptop is rebuilded and occasionally with the wrong case model……and i was trying to upload some photos but failed. I dont know why

My main things with getting a new laptop were: 1) Price, 2) Weight, and 3) Specs.

I got this thing to do primarily 3D work, involving Blender, Substance, etc. As well as some light gaming. The computer runs Substance Painter like a dream, and modded Skyrim barely breaks a sweat.
