Ive used my new stand for about a week. Its VERY sturdy and stable. I like how it holds my MacBook Pro at a good typing angle, AND, when I use my detached keyboard and Thunderbolt display, this stand is perfect for keeping my computer safely away from any desktop spills -- while NOT blocking my view of the Thunderbolt screen.

Ive tried them all. Cheap ones, moderately priced ones and even expensive ones, including elago L3. What this stand has is the dual benefits of anti-slip and aerated. Elago, for example doesnt have anti-slip except for 4 circles on each edge. The whole surface of this one is anti-slip. Whether I use my MacBook or Notebook, neither heats up with prolonged use. An added bonus is that if you video-conference, the angle is perfect if you poisition yourself ergonomically correctly.

I am very happy with this stand. Although it is listed as being for notebook computers, I bought it for my iPad Pro 10.5. It fits perfectly and supports the iPad very well. When I set up the iPad vertically, the stand extends about 1/8 beyond it on either side, and comes most of the way up the back. It feels very secure. There are nonslip surfaces to keep the iPad from slipping around or being marred. There is no bouncing or unsteadiness when I am using the onscreen keyboard. This stand is beautifully machined of solid aluminum, well-designed, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a good stand for an iPad Pro 10.5.

This stand fits my Yoga laptop perfectly. It is very sturdy and my laptop doesnt move at all. Small enough footprint but has just enough rise for cable management.
