> 24 hourWe gave this to my mother as an early Christmas present. She is an avid reader, but painful neck problems had made it impossible for her to read for more than a short time. This book stand has solved the problem for her. It holds even large, heavy books in any position she wishes. Its stable, sturdy, easily moved, and has a seemingly infinite range of positions. The book is held securely, but its easy to turn the pages. It has wheels (which can also be locked) so it can move anywhere it can roll, but it would be too heavy to carry up stairs on a regular basis. But the weight is the reason its so stable. Mom can read for as long as she wants now. What an excellent book stand!

> 24 hourI purchased this reading stand over two years ago. I use it several times a day. The quality is extraordinary. About two weeks ago, a part in it broke, I was devastated because I enjoy reading from the stand so much. I contacted the company. They said the part was covered under warranty and they immediately sent me the replacement component for the stand. my Levo reading stand is now back in order. While I am a person who has rarely submitted a review, the value of this stand is incredible! You will read more, enjoy it more and sit healthfully upright while you read. This is a class product from a class company!

> 24 hourMy mother had a stroke a year ago and one of the nightmares of her situation has been that she cant read due to full loss of use of her left arm and hand. Ive bought a number of different props and stands for her to try, but as she also cant sit up for long without blood pressure drops, none of those held the book at the right angle for her. Enter the LEVO. It is very solid, works with her hospital bed height, even holds paperbacks (though hardbacks fit better in it), and with a little finger dexterity you can lift the little spring arm to slide a page out to turn and repeat on the other side to secure it again. The staff in her facility hasnt been able to do much tech support of any sort but my brother was able to finally get in her room and organize things better. He says she still is getting a few pages at once but once he helped adjust it for her it has really helped. It is still very easy to nick the edges of a page trying to extract it from the spring arm. Mom tends to have cheaply bought F&SF books from used book stores and library sales, so a bit of mangling doesnt matter unless it causes paper cuts later, but other users should be aware this is not for valuable books where you care about edge damage. I have recently bought the tablet holder headpiece to swap in with the book holder. I get to see Mom tomorrow and I hope to find that it is an easy swap, so she can use a tablet again and read Kindle books too but not be locked in to one reading medium. The instructions on the tablet holder say nothing about how to mount it, so Im hoping the stand instructions have that information. Speaking of assembly, this wasnt super simple. My husband is tool-savvy and reasonably strong and it took his skills to put the stand together. Also it is a very heavy piece of equipment; Im not strong and I could only barely lift it in and out of my car to take it to Mom after assembly and testing. 5 stars because while its not perfect for Moms needs, its the only solution weve found that gives her even a chance of reading books again. Once my brother had a chance to handle it he told me it was a really great purchase.

> 24 hourAs a person with numerous finger, hand, wrist, forearm, elbow, bicep/tricep, and rotator cuff injuries, I cannot say enough about how much I love this book stand! $200 is a lot of money, but its pretty clear to me already that it was money well spent. I previously purchased a much less-expensive book stand made by Lecco which has done a passing job but has to be physically picked up to be moved and the mechanism for both holding the book and adjusting the height and angle cannot compare to this Levo G2 Deluxe. You will not tear or even damage pages with this book holder and it is sturdy enough to hold a lot of weight. The heavy base with casters insures that this thing isnt going to tip over but it can easily be rolled out of the way with one hand. Just as importantly, this stand gives you a nearly limitless range of positions from which to keep a book handy. I use it in a recliner with a laptop or keyboard and it is so sturdy and the movement of the arms and other parts is so smooth that everything but turning the pages is a one hand job. And speaking of turning the pages, this product has an ingenious method for doing just that, again without any issues with damaged or torn pages. It is so well-made. If you need hands-free access to books for any reason whatsoever, do not hesitate to purchase this stand. It does require a minimum of assembly but it is not complicated at all-- the directions are very clear and the wrench is included. I cannot recommend this product highly-enough!

> 24 hourMy husband was impressed with the construction and he is fussy about construction having been involved in construction and manufacturing all his life. I like how the product functions. It has enough adjustments that it fits my use perfectly. Best of all my neck no longer hurts.

> 24 hourMy son’s father suffered a TIA a stroke and his entire right side of the body suffered the worst of it, and is unable to hold a book properly now and I suggested this stand to them and they approved it and bought it for him to use. Now he is able to read better and uses his tablet the most and with the ability to enlarge the font we gave him back one of his most important pieces of life back to him. This stand is perfect for disabled people and for those needing help reading their books. The features to keep the book or tablet in place have been the best about it and grateful this was available for him! You won’t regret getting it.

> 24 hourThis is a heavy product once assembled, but my wife could not do without it. For reading books (or a tablet), it is proving indispensable. It reaches all the way across both sofa and bed and is impervious to glancing knocks from family pets. Highly recommended.

> 24 hourI got this for my girlfriend because she has carpal tunnel, and she absolutely loves it. She’s able to still read actual books and not use a kindle… she couldn’t be happier.
